Will Europe Help America In WW3? Should They?

Reading these answers it makes me question if most of you know what WW3 would bring and the after affects and basically what happens when the bomb drops. We ALL lose. We cannot compare this to WW1 or WW2...this is a whole new ball game! They need to throw the documentary/film 'Threads' in to the school curriculum so everybody can see the horrors of WW3. This scared the living daylights out of me in the 70's when I was a kid. Hardly anybody survives. The elite already have their bunkers and supplies ready and waiting, 99% of the population(us) will die.
If you are 'lucky' you will die instantly...most people won't and will have to face hell basically.....if you don't die of radiation or burns/injuries you will need to go through the nuclear winter then if you get past that you will need to face diseases,starvation and dehydration...fighting for everything. If you get past all that there's a probability you will die of cancer anyway.... everybody loses,every country,every nationality...well except the elite!

Our national debt is mostly owned by Americans themselves. You are correct that the conditions are quite different than the forties, but there is one thing that is the same: American's resiliency. As much as we hate the top, we want to stay there.

We owe to the allied forces (including the U.S.) because they freed our nation from the yoke of Nazi and Communist totalitarianism.
My family quite frankly owe them their lifes because they were politically persecuted during the NS regime.
We were only able to develop the excellent political system we have today because of them.
Other european nations owe them even more for the same reasons IMO.

they let their allies, including britain, be brought to their knees, so that they could take our economic power and influence.

america while helping europe was plotting against and trying to destroy the allied nations.

everybody who reads a book knows this happened. america used world war 2 to take down the european super powers and position themselves as the super power.

We were not forced to intervene. We chose to get ourselves involved and honoured our treaty with our friends. That's why when Hitler invaded Poland we said hold on a moment, and came out swinging.

As a point of order, we didn't 'intervene', the UK declared war on Germany.
We didn't wait until our hand was forced whilst making as much money as possible, but that's another arguement altogether.

Anyway, carry on people, this thread is providing quite the mixture of emotions - incredulity, amazement, hilarity, anger but most of all simply disbelief at the amount of ignorance, arrogance and xenophobia shown in one thread.

We don’t want you be scared. And you don’t owe us anything. The great nature of the United States is that it doesn’t ask for a lot in return or anything. Pakistan is a perfect example. Simply put, they undercut the US every chance they get and yet we still provide Aid and resources to their people.

Win WWII? Being a History Major I’m pretty sure they the United States was on the winning side. I think I read that somewhere. Unless you have your own history book that you created from your fictitious imagination. I know one thing with 100% certainty, America ENDED the war. Read up on the Battle of the Bulge and Hiroshima.

Facts are hard to argue with. Try it, or is it to hard? Is it simpler to just call it "crap"? That’s typically what my 11 year old niece says when she disagrees with something. I know both you and I are above that age at this point, so please try harder. Not with opinions, but with undeniable facts.

In WW11 everyone worked together to stop Hitlers armies and Japans leaders from taking over the world. Noone by themselves stopped the war. It was a war that was fought and is part of the world's history. Lots of lives were lost and there was lots of damage done. It wasn't the German people or the Japanese people that caused the war, it was their leadership.

World war one and World war two were not Americas fight. Do you have any idea how many American KIA's we had helping Europe and the rest of the free world? How could Europe help the US? Their Currency is about to cease to exist. The European countries have no weapons/or very very little as Libya pointed out and no money. England ran out of missiles in what three days? I see you all still have your pride left, that's great. How many Euro's is that going to be worth in 6 months? 27 percent of the United Nations income comes from the United States. lol Last year we GAVE Egypt 31 million dollars.. why? they hate us...lol Pakistan? in the last 5 years we have donated to Pakistan more money than they produced as a Country themselves. DO you realize not one thing you said was accurate? By 1941 Japan Owned Korea, Vietnam and most of China plus what she has today. Please tell me about our allies invading Japanese territory and not losing.

Britain was a storm away from getting invaded and occupied. Even while we we were giving through the Lend lease act almost entire fleets, thousands of tanks, cannons and rifles. Russia would be the only country to put in that statement. They beat on the Germans like pro's. But only after the united states entered the war and kicked the Germans out of Africa and created a real two front war. Before that the Germans were able to concentrate and were taking Russian territory a hundred miles a day sometimes.
England helped by bombing at night, America bombed during the day. That is how England helped not lose their own war.

As far as the people of the Axis. The Japanese people were victimized by their leaders. Not so with the Germans watch the footage they LOVED hitler. He fixed their country and dominated from 1934 to 1941-42
