that about sums it up for most americans, fanatics or not

Kooky ideas like what? Killing Americans? Sending them off to some forsaken land? Sending our jobs overseas? Patting yourself on the back when 25,000 McJobs were created under your watch? Dream Act? Falling short of promises? Arming gangs in Mexico?

how about like ending the fed. Like defaulting on debt. Like cutting off all foreign aid. Like ending funding for education.

To name a few, VERY kooky ideas.

I didn't know you were a grandpa.

Your points leave a lot to be desired, considering what you're saying is only half truth.

Ahh, so you'll only accept the kooky ideas if it is stated by a posters grandpa.

"WE AREN'T CRAZY!!!! OUR MOTHERS HAD US TESTED!!"

Herp.

Red herring.

Are you speaking for the grandfather? How do you know? Are you psychic?

Yup, keep on deflecting.

Not one ounce of crazy here. Move along.

So why don't you detail what Ron Paul has said about the point you brought up?

I know, you won't.

Watering down of his rhetoric only discredits you.

Just wanted to say, Paul is for less regulations for the corporate industries..less control over trade. This in turn would make it even more profitable for corporations to use slave labor overseas.

His solution would be to abolish minimum wage..

basically, he is saying we can get the jobs back..all we have to do is live in squalor and work for quite literal slave wages and voila...we will have a bunch of really crap jobs come back...hooray...nothing like making 90 cents an hour with cost of living rising, And of course since jobs are soo plentiful (who wouldn't want to work 14 hour shifts making a sweet 10 bucks a day), you can safely eliminate pretty much all social safety nets...after all, plenty of jobs.

There is absolutely no foresight here...in this area, I see Ron Paul as the most dangerous thing America could ever entertain having..might as well just pass out bullets so we can kill ourselves.

Somolia has a similar setup to his ideal...

99% of black people are gang banging dope dealers..
99% of jews have big noses..
99% of Polish are dumb..

Is that true??? See how that works? It is called stereotyping.

Stereotyping is used to demonize an entire group of people that YOU do not like..

So the weird attitude that Paul is the only way makes Paul supporters crazy??

So which Bush cousin you voting for? Obama or Romney? Keeping the Bush family rule going is not going to change anything for the better.

It's hard for me to wrap my head around the idea that Obama and Romney supporters feel like they must tread on the path to oblivion. Unless there is a secret to their madness, I can't see it any other way.

Manufacturing jobs are being ran out of the US by over regulation.

Why was the minimum wage started???? To adjust for inflation.

From Paul's book END THE FED Ron Paul said he will not just end the fiat currency, instead just legalizing competing currencies (gold). The reason their is inflation is because we have a one currency monopoly that is highly manipulated. Legalize competing currencies will make the manipulated currency fail or shake off the manipulation.

The anti Paul people's favorite way of attacking his ideas is to act as if he would enact them instantly and with no regard for their consequences.

We have strayed from the form of government america was meant to be, slowly over decades. It will be a slow transition to systematically get back to real America.

I didn't stereotype, I said 99% of Ron Paul supporters are crazy, not all.

Oh, and I voted for Ron Paul, why are you stereotyping me? Or making baseless assumptions? I have a strong enough mind to not fall in to the personality cult of RP....many don't.

What do you expect? Ron Paul has a distinct message that resonates with a lot of people, and that makes you a cult of personality.

Deal with it.

You are not considering corporations.
The concept put forth is under this very obscure assumption that corporations are run by government and will therefore fall in line.
No, they won't.
a corporation makes a -ton- of profit worldwide for having manufacturing plants over in countries that have no employee standardization (slave labor).
You might want to look at Apple's business practice and decision.
China not only offered them a free manufacturing plant the size of a small city, they gave them 24/7 workers making 90 cents an hour (all workers live onsite), no regulations, etc...

It doesn't matter if you remove every single regulation and charge corporations zero tax...the jobs still won't come back unless there is next to no pay also going to the workers.
In China, you can sort of justify it due to a fair sized social net that accounts for many losses...here in America, with people screaming socialism if the government wants to give a crust of bread to some poor person, you would have an epic disaster.

So no...Pauls idea is incredibly short sighted and isn't taking anything outside of corporate profits into consideration...

Steve Jobs said very flatly that the manufacturing jobs were not coming back..had little to do with regulations here, or anything we could reasonably do..no party had a good idea (because it would take a very bad idea for the manu jobs to come back).

But he is not entirely correct either.

Show me a president that will revise the trade laws between nations...not to cut out nations (cut out china and all jobs go to india, pakistan, etc..wherever the slave labor is)...but instead go the opposite way..disclude everyone, then start building a trade with nations that have worker standards...anything outside of that is taxed to such an extent that it is utterly useless to use those nations.
That will then have corporations decide to manufacture where the talent is verses the slaves...and may even help out those slave labor countries to become standard in todays society in order to come into the trade routes, or suffer in poverty.

Our laws, and every politician (including and perhaps especially Ron Paul) is to build up corporations profits while hobbling global society from ever achieving any sort of overall growth.

Its Bull...

But there isn't a single POTUS potential, and most of congress on either side that is even slightly discussing this major issue...most talks are to reinforce it.

Sad to say, but Donald Trump was the only one that even lightly brushed on the area...very lightly..and with no actual plan..and only one country...

This government, and most other governments around the globe are already purchased and have a vested interest in keeping things the same...so instead of addressing this core issue of economic failure, its instead built up as some sort of weird good thing and then ignored as the black hole grows year after year..all to keep the pockets of the few very heavy.

and no...Ron Paul is -not- a savior here..he is a destroyer like the rest..his desires are just to speed up the process. I don't know if he is purposefully wanting that, or just isn't thinking.

Red herring again.

Everyone here should be looking at 3rd party choices, and no, none of them are the lord and savior.

Is Romeny or Obama your paul bearer?

Wanted to address this point also

Of course we did..we had to.
In the good ole days of america, which is what many point to as some sort of wonderful time..we had no real manufacturing or information as our product.
We were a resource nation, and our trade was tobacco, cotton, and a bit of gold...the south was a powerhouse of the economy and did well with little to no regulations..
Well, they also had a slave race that did the actual work (call it manufacturing circa 1800s). This was brilliant..free slave labor, product, tax, etc...that money then went on construction and establishment in the north.

three things happened since then

1) no more slave class...all workers want money now to work (the nerve of them)
2) no longer a raw materials society...the shift of economics went from the southern and western farmers to urban information dealers
3) The population grew

You cannot effectively take a small population raw resource slave class government style and say it somehow applies today. That is a fantastic way to totally destroy our entire nation...

I guess I'll tell you what mass media is

Internet media is able to achieve mass media status in its own right, due to the many mass media services it provides, such as email, websites, blogging, Internet and television

Public speaking and event organizing can also be considered as forms of mass media

Broadcast media (also known as electronic media) transmit their information electronically and comprise television, film and radio, movies, CDs, DVDs and some other devices like cameras and video consoles

Ron Paul totally has NONE OF THOSE......right

He's running as the worst enemy the Republicans could have.

Anyways, there are other 3rd party candidates out there, don't neglect them!
