Suicide bomb attack on Afghan NATO base: 7 killed, 13 injured.

A suicide attacker rammed a truck packed with explosives into a checkpoint at a NATO base outside Khost in eastern Afghanistan, killing up to seven Afghans in the east of the country, a security official said.

More have died due to such attacks in the past 2 years. There seems to be no clear strategy which is scary.

The reason US forces are now training afghans is cause they cannot man the front line anymore and have to transfer the casualties over to the afghans to fight their wars for them.
