BALTIMORE — A 21-year-old college student from Kenya accused of killing a housemate told police he ate the victim’s heart and part of his brain after he died.

The attack comes in the same week as a man in Miami chewed away another man’s face along a busy highway and wouldn’t stop until an officer shot him to death.

Now before we jump to near impossible jump of zombism. Let us think of more rational things, first off this person admitted to his crimes. Now in the movies the zombies never voice anything above a grunt or a groan. maybe a word at the most. Not full coherent sentences in a which a person acknowledges guilt. Second zombism would be an after death thing and not a during life thing. Its logically impossible for a person to be a zombie and then be alive again, zombie by definition is essentially a flesh eating walking corpse. So really its not even logical to think the Kenya person is a zombie.

Secondly, some people resort to cannibalism just for the sake of eating someone. The maori tribes in New Zealand ate their enemies so that they would turn them into feces which they thought to be the ultimate form of disrespect. Some people are insane and think nothing of eating another human being. Others find the taste good, much like a famous cannibal from Japan. Who, after being released from jail become a celebrity and has openly claimed he will eat again. Perhaps drugs were used, it is not unheard of that P.C.P. users can go beserk and not be affected by bullets or pain.

So, before we jump to a near impossibility let us first consider the more logical and probable reasons for people eating people. Remember correlation does not equal causation.

Dude, I think its some drug that went around. It could be some really weird RC drug and only a few people have it and it makes some people just snap. Like really snap. I don't think it's a zombie virus, I think its a bad bad custom made "legal" RC drug that's really new or rare and it makes some people get so crazy they eat people. Like when that dude ate him what was he seeing? Reality or some crazy # that wasn't like eating someone. Could be just makes them crazy. Jesus almighty! Just make weed legal and SAVE LIVES. Thanks

Actually....

In Haiti, zombification is a punishment for severe crimes. Coupe poudre is the powder used by a bokur to induce zombification. The active ingredient of coupe poudre is tetradotoxin (TTX), produced in the liver and ovaries of some species of puffer fish (e.g. Fugu rubripes). TTX is a neurotoxin 500 times more potent than cyanide. It acts by blocking the sodium ion channels which enable nerve and heart cells to produce electrical impulses. In miniscule doses TTX causes a near-death state in which metabolic functions are depressed, so that breathing and pulse rate are undetectable.
