Dual citizenship is a peculiar thing. It is up to the countries involved, not just the US Constitution. For example:

Michele Bachmann is/was eligible for dual citizenship with Switzerland (she declined the opportunity, to her credit).

Mitt Romney is eligible for dual citizenship with Mexico (his grandfather, and quite possibly his father, were born there... then came here illegally to escape the revolution in the early part of the 20th century...still no word on when Gov. Romney will self deport. ;o).

You see, Romney has a lot of family in Mexico in Colonia Juarez (not to be confused with Ciudad Juarez across from El Paso). The Romney's moved there after the ban on polygamy in the US. Based on Mexican law, Romney can claim dual citizenship due to his family's history with Mexico and hisgrandfather's and, possibly, father's birth.

President Obama was born in Hawaii, making him a natural born citizen. The questions to ask are:
Did the President accept dual citizenship at age 18 or thereafter?
Is there something constructive the birthers can do with their spare time other than this? (I kid. I kid.)

If he did claim dual citizenship then he is not eligible.

Dual citizenship does not render anyone ineligible to be candidate.
