I believe the only sport we can officially relate to a political party is NASCAR. A majority of NASCAR fans are Republicans/Conservatives. Is there any other sport in which this is possible to do? I believe not, but correct me if I am wrong.
Even though a few athletes in other mainstream sports may have strong political opinions, it is not often that their fans are able to distinguish their sport with a certain political preference.
