This church is now complaining that they're being persecuted/bullied. There's no way I'm reading this whole thread, so I don't know if someone has already made my observation. I have a theory. I really believe that most people (even if they disagree with homosexuality) don't believe and act like the people at this church. For whatever reason, I have an easier time believing that these people really don't buy what they're selling- and there is some sort of agenda going on. Like Westboro can hijack the Baptist and Christian names for their antics because they know they'll get attention- I think this is very similar. I could be wrong- but my gut is telling me otherwise.

They're confusing persecution and bullying with people standing up to them. They certianly asked for it and they're getting it!
You may very well be correct that they are just seeking attention, they aren't at all what the idea of "Christian" is and their behavior is unexcusable.
Hopefully, the "persecution and bullying" they they are experiencing will continue and make them miserable instead of bringing them the happiness they were searching for by spreading hatred.

You're #ing right i'm intolerant of these freaks - if I got my hands on one I'd smash their faces in.

Mmm, gnash those teeth. Grrr

When you find the time, you may be able to find one of these psychopaths really close to you.

I would always find a quiet moment to sort out sick freaks like them.

You ought to be embarrassed that you mock my anger rather than condemn these religious pigs.

I think you ought to calm down. You're not even expressing your anger in any constructive manner, you're just being incendiary, aggressive, and frankly you are acting like a lunatic.

Also, I'm not embarrassed at all, thanks.

Your wrath is truly otherworldly however, you should really get that checked out.

You have no clue how angry it makes me because you are not the object of these freaks hate.

Asking them politely to refrain from being so mean just doesn't work so my approach has changed.

IMHO the people cheering that kid and especially the people teaching that kid to hate like that are responsible for hurtful bullying of children - they'll BURN IN HELL for that.

I got bullied with exactly that hate before I even knew what gay was. They called me fairy and chased me home from school in kindergarten. I still feel like the world would be better off without those kids. Especially those among them who've not apologized.

Were you a kid like that? The hour's getting late to apologize to your victims before they vote you down to hell. And yea only Jesus knows your heart - but there's more than 1 kid I'd love to smash the face of not that I've got a stronger fist. Cheering that 4 year old is teaching him to GO TO HELL.

It's funny how Christians want everyone to be treated equally but pull the bull--- like this, it's one of the many reasons I choose not to follow this faith, not trying to get off topic here, but this is just stupid, I heard some kid on a radio show talking ab out it, how I'd like to call him up and give him a piece of my mind, but he wasn't live... too bad.

I've read the bible - and Jesus is my ultimate hero of life - the fictional character like Howard Roarke and Jonnathan E who I most desire to emulate for the value of my life. Paul on the other hand is the justification of this sort of hate - referenced as though that makes it right. It doesn't just like Jesus flipping the money - Paul has issues. Did he really learn to appreciate Jesus before he passed? IDK. I do know that he killed people and that's worthy of the sort of self-defense and retaliation from family that I've expressed in those couple videos a couple posts back. For the most part I don't think of them. But seeing what they do to children makes me want to see them stopped. Otherwise, how do you think of me Howard (by Toohey)? I don't.

lol. If we go with a godless world, there's no such thing as free will anyway. If that's so, then no, Christians are not to be held accountable for their deeds because genetically, there's no way for them to be any different.

Oh, God. so wrong, but funny.

Reminds me of the story from our redneck Christian at church (Arkanas). Caught his cousins "in the act" as a kid. Still can't wrap his head around it.

*sigh* Am I a Jew or a Gentile? Gentile Christians are NOT forced into circumcision--nor much of anything from the law not covered by Christ but not eating blood.

Matthew 5:17-20

17 "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
Guess what, if Christ accomplished what He set out to do, then the smallest letter or stroke of the law can pass away--i.e. some of the things from the OT law are going to quit being used as a standard.

When Gentiles were first brought into the church, Peter stood up against the Jewish Christians who were fussing about him 'breaking the law" by eating with Gentiles (as in a non-Jewish meal). He gives an account of what "vision" told him to break a law of the OT, and then pointed to Gentiles in question receiving a gift from God before "conversion". Peter's conclusion was: ""Therefore if God gave to them the same gift as He gave to us also after believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God's way?"" Here

There's the whole book of Romans nattering on about Law and what we're bound to--and how the law couldn't save you. Then there's this whole Grace thing.

Look, the whole OT and NT are covered with instances where God instigates exceptions to His rules. I mean, a dissertation's worth, if not a whole 600 page book's worth of breaking it down in detail. (So, no, I'm not going to write it.) So guess what? Practicing Homosexuality can be a sin, and you can still have some Homosexuals in heaven--just like some Christians won't be.

I just find it hilarious that some people bind that book far more than that book ever bound them.

Originally posted by Randomacity My point being, you can not pick and choose things from the bible that benefit you. I'm sure your god wouldn't appreciate that.
This is the best warning to Christianity there is. But be careful. When picking and choosing different "laws" as a point to force this viewpoint, a lot of times a "law" is being chosen that people, by the entirety of that book, are not accountable for. That's when it falls flat, reinforcing the whole: "Satan's using scripture to lie again" reaction. (i.e. reinforcing that you have no authority to discern what scripture means by a lack of even remotely understanding it)

It's like arguing about Christopher Columbus trying to prove the world was round to a bunch of Flat-Earthers. Historically inaccurate, although there's text out there that states that this is what he did.

There never has been and never will be a world filled with only homosexuals, so there is no chance our race will die out. Are you stupid?

I'm just giving an example and a scenario are you stupid ?
Is not like I'm with the church or anything that they should kill gays and lesbians, just talking about ones opinion.

Baptists and Pentecostals aren't the same, so it's unlikely that they derived from the same source, in a literal worldly timeline sense. Being "Of Satan" is a different matter.

Wow, your an embarrassment to each and every one of the membership on this domain .
Your attitude and blatant homophobia is so ridiculous that it is truly sad . It is evident due to your absolutely horrible spelling and punctuation that you are nothing more then a little child and you are one of the reasons the site should employ an age restriction on the ATS domain .

Clearly you have alot of growing up to do and i only hope that you can get the sort of education that you need .
Its people like you that fuel the rude and down nose steriotypical view of your country and you should have some common sense and decency beaten into you .

How dare you attack people you dont even know in the way that you have . It is clear that you are a keyboard tough guy , hiding behind your computer like a coward and not employing one iota of mutual respect for anyone while at the same time both failing to talk yourself up and forever smearing dirt on your reputation here at ATS , AND an overbearing homophobe . Did you know that most people display homophobic behavior to hide there own homosexuality ? Also it is scientifically proven that homophobic men are alot more likely to be turned on by gay pornography . Maybe if you come out of the closet as they say you will lose your disgusting and hostility causing attitude ? But something tells me that you wouldnt be running your trap if you werent behind the safety of your computer ... Its a good thing too because ,Man ! ....

I really dont want to be reminded of how abhorrently disgusting you are so from this point on i am placing you on my ignore list , Just because the website allows dirt and grime like you to dodge its ban protocols doesnt mean that we have to .

PS, A complaint has been sent to ATS admin about your actions as we really dont need people ( i use the term very loosely ) like you both bringing down and trashing our haven . Stick to the topic , its not that difficult .

Good day .

yet they are both denominations of the same basic christianity....that seem to be merging as others have in the past

it's best to just hit alert on those kind of people (whatever his name is, not important enough to try to remember). He isn't looking for discussion, just attacks and hatred.
