Actually, they are doing it on video and posting it on the internet.

I am all for people practicing their religions in their temples, but when you make your practices public, you can't really hide behind the "We are doing it our church! Leave us alone!" defense.

That being said, the kid is 4, and I personally hope he is gay.

My own opinion on that, is that the conventional/mainstream conception of God is completely erroneous, but that that isn't the same as saying that God doesn't exist.

Don't make the mistake of judging theism as a whole, on the basis of mainstream Christianity, Saturn. It is a mess.

What are you talking about? I don't believe homosexuals have bashed the heterosexual lifestyle at all. Actually homosexuals are not encouraging anyone to be homosexual. They just want to be regonized as a group of people that does exist, that's all.

Homosexuality does exist, it is a biological condition that is such a strong urge that even the threat of death does not prevent humans from acting on it. Just like you cannot choose your race, you cannot choose your orientation. Trust me, I know, I have tried.

All they want is for people to say, "Okay here, you are entitled to the same rights as everyone else." No one is saying, "hey everyone, be gay with us." No one is saying, "Heterosexuals are less worthy of rights than homosexuals." But people are saying the opposite.

Believe me, I can understand being totally upset at a crappy landlord. I had the misfortune of being stuck on 1 slumlord's apartments as a small child. Nasty man propositioned my mom in place of rent, then wouldn't fix things, but staged a showdown to get the cops involved (to take us kids away on the pretext of the faults in the apartment being my parent's). The case was so flimsy we were awarded back to my parents within 2 weeks--just for perspective. And yes, he did likely go to Church somewhere.

Oh thanks to the ACLU and the cadres of secular humanists, it is no longer required to say the pledge in classrooms, and in fact, the humanists have made everyone to feel that believing in one's country is terrible. Yet somehow they don't see something wrong with teaching children to sing to the President in loving adoration to our dear leader.

I believe in god. I also believe no religion has a patent on god. I communicate to god through nature. If that doesn't get me to heaven than I guess I go where the rest of my friends are going.

Whatever happened to allowing kids to have their childhood to themselves, without older people polluting their minds with their agenda?

The problem is that homosexual behaviour is dominated by double standards. They'll scream that it's wrong for Christians to brainwash a four year old into hating gays, but they have no problem with indoctrinating four year olds themselves, according to this.

Sex education for children of that age is wrong, whether it is on the pro gay or anti gay side of the fence. If the gay movement don't want people to believe the usual line about how they are part of the Fabian Socialist conspiracy to destroy human society, and ultimately humanity itself, then they seriously need to stop engaging in that sort of behaviour.

At some point we have to think about the fact that the State takes it upon itself to take over traditional parental authority, and they are willing to do that to indoctrinate children into whatever program it is they desire. What if it were cannibalism they decided to teach the kids next? If there was a cannibal society who demanded rights and demanded the schools teach it to kindergartners and sent books home, would anybody care about it?
It really is an aspect of cultural marxism to take over a sector and indoctrinate people using the State to achieve its ends.
The parents in that video clearly feel that the State is overstepping its bounds. The Dad even went to jail.

I am a youth pastor and yes I gotta say this video is horrible. While I do think homosexuality is sinful, but no different from the sins we all do, but I also do not care if they get married, as I realize it is pretty hypocritical for me to demand my rights [even 2nd amendment rights] while saying others cannot have a certain right.
Many Christians wonder why mainline churches are dying out, and why society is becoming hostile towards church...well, it's crap like this video and the overall judgmental and hypocritical behavior that makes people hate the church.

On another note, just like Islamic extremists, or even liberal/environmental extremists, there are Christian extremists and fundamentalists...and even further than that, Christians are people too, we are human, we make mistakes, we have opinions, and often wrong or misguided opinions...the problem is when we act like we are better than others or are hostile towards others. Someone post something like "you believe God is love" yes, we do, and technically we are told to be like Christ, who "became a servant" and lowered himself and put others first. He ate with prostitutes and sinners, yes I am sure he told them to stop sinning, but he said it in love and friendship. I would rather be someones friend and show them love before ever throwing a Bible verse in their face....and a lot of Christians don't realize that, and I myself didn't realize that in the beginning. Early on in my Christian walk I remember calling a girl a whore and saying she's going to hell...to this day I can't believe I did that and I am so sorry that Christians say crap like that. There's enough hurt and brokenness in this world and the church should be an oasis of love, offering relief when family/work/life just sucks.

Sorry for the rant, but just my 2 cents
