People react to situations differently and this guy let loose his emotions. Sure, she could be the person you think she is who is just laughing because she thinks the speaker is crazy, wrong, a drama queen, etc, but that could also be the best way she deals with such an outburst that going on right in front of her on camera in a room full of people who are looking her way. Put yourself in that situation and think about it.

Or not. Just because you see it that way doesn't make it true. Tell me, who are they? Are you talking about the people sitting around him in the camera shot or do you mean everyone in general? How would you react if you were sitting there? Also, if you were sitting there would you have value above a janitor? How much value do you place on janitors? If you were sitting there watching this man would you also become enraged and start yelling or would you sit there and listen? Tell us, how should their reactions have been if the speaker had value just above a janitors?

Always difficult to say how one would react in a given situation and hind sight is always 20/20 but I know how I would have reacted...with applause.

I'm sure of it.

Peace

Perhaps, and there very well may be many in that room and sitting next to him that were also clapping, on the inside.

This guy is really amazing..

He is right though, left or right
would not matter if ALL of them
stood up and would get mad,
when bull crap is being pushed around..

Most these bills these guys never even have
a chance to read.. (like the healthcare bill)
then they are expected to tow the party line
on it whatever the hell it is, without them being
able to know what the hell it is they are really voting for.

I don't think it is right, and this guy has some guts..
Why would they push these bills out like this?
Because most of them are shady, and most these bills
are filled with more pork than a pig farm.
Notice at 50 seconds the old guy
at the bottom starts clapping for this
rep.. I think it is genuine.

This bill was in no way pushed through. It's just a republican crying because the democrat's got a bill through that they wanted. Someone should ask him why don't you want to save the state between 65 to 115 billion dollars.

When a representative loses control on national television...in front of EVERY PERSON they are representing...without any shame or remorse, no guilt whatsoever, just pure conviction and honest passion...no regard whatsoever for the repercussions upon their career or what their family might think....just stands up and starts raging about the system they were voted into...

When that happens, you know something is very wrong. And since a lot of what that representative said makes sense, I'm betting the problem isn't him.

I take my hat off to this man. He has taken the first step, it's time for everyone else to follow.

I love the reaction of the guy in the white shirt behind him.
He can't be bothered by the whole scene.

He appears to be talking about the Illinois speaker of the house.

I think it is disgusting how so many around him are trying to pretend he isn't even there. This world is sick. I think it may be terminal

he went ballistic or psycho

he also intruded on others 'personal space' when he flung the stack of papers
then at the end he damaged public property when he flung the microphone

the rep. needs counseling...possibly anger management... but at least a reprimand from his peers and realistically he needs fines imposed on his sorry butt...

of course if he represented a district in Chicago proper, he might be talking of Mayor Emmanuel & his gestapo tactics for the NATO shake down.
in any case his demonstration was not 'free speech' it was street theater

You have got to be #ing kidding me. We must bureaucratically nickel and dime him for every action? Every action needs a law applied to it? People aren't allowed to be human? They must be perfect cogs in this broken political machine? I hope you're being satirical because we need more of this guy's humanity in positions of power.

Does anyone know who she is? This is just the type of person we DON'T need representing us.

I can see it now...

Millions see this video, the Rep. gets his 15 minutes of fame.
Other politicians see this, and have their own "blow ups" for the publicity.
This gets so popular, every sound bite is a screaming idiot.
The "blow ups" degenerate to trash talk about rival politicians.
The masses now vote for their favorite screamer.
Politics turns into a WWF style moron-apalooza.
They sell the TV rights to China for a fortune...
