I wonder if Obama will show some class the day after the November election.

Will he be calling Romney then to say "congratulations Mitt" ?

Updated 12:20 p.m. - President Obama called Mitt Romney on Wednesday to congratulate the former Massachusetts governor on winning the necessary delegates to secure the Republican presidential nomination.

When the POTUS calls Romney the winner then their is absolutely zero dispute that he is the winner of the GOP to challenge the President. There is simply no way in hell that the president would be advised to congratulate someone who did not win yet.

Undisputable proof that Ron Paul is outta there. Take all of them stealth delegates and stuff them where the sun don't shine, that argument is completely and utterly debunked at this point.

1144, Ron Paul no more.

Amazing how a simple thing like a phone call convinces you the Ron Paul revolution is over. I think you underestimate us. The delegates are all Paul supporters, so the convention will be over run with Paul supporters regardless of who is the nominee.

Ron Paul still has a great chance, 400+ delegates are still up for grabs. The establishment is just trying to flex their muscles because they are SCARED!

If Romney can some how pull out of the huge electoral hole he is currently in I think everyone will call him and offer him congrats he will have earned it. Of course he is going to have to show something way better than he did during the primaries and Obama is going to have to really have some big misteps and even then it would be hard to pull off. Romney had to swing so far right during the primaries he has completely alienated the center. Any move to the center gets him called a flopper and he loses the support of the already skeptical far right. It is an interesting pickle.

Excellent, my reply in the closed thread applies perfectly to your response so here you go,

Perhaps you need to seek professional help, there is no way Ron Paul can win and the proof is staring you right in the face in this thread. The POTUS does not congatulate you and say you are the winner if it has not happened yet. Therefore Mitt Romney is the undisputed winner.

Some people in the Paul camp have led a lot of people astray with false hopes, I'd look into sueing the Ron Paul people for emotional distress directly caused by this.

Notice you never mentioned the MSM once...The MSM causes emotional distress because everyone listens to them...In fact you need professional guidance on how to properly respond instead of attacking someone right off the bat. False hopes? Obama is full of that.

Why do I bother I just jumped into the lions den with a piece of meat attached to me..

Nobody is scared of somebody nobody wants to vote for. It may make you feel better to think that but, Paul has no support beyond his small base and after all these years he has failed to grow it any meaningful way. His delegate game just comes off as desperate and has no chance of doing much beyond making the party look bad.

If he can keep his stance on a strong millitary intact to contrast with Obama's record and if the world events such as sabre rattling in Syria, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Korea persist then there will be enough contrast for a close race.

If the world calms down and all they have to argue about is thier socialist health care, then Obama keeps the edge.

You may be smiling here on out till November but rest assured if you think the impact Ron Paul has made with young people and politics is over you are the one who is kidding yourself, my friend. You can say, Ron Paul has infected American politics thanks to his die hard fans and they won't stop infecting the political scene. So, the battle may be yours but the war is far from over. Soon you'll be starring in anti Rand Paul threads, and the like, so I hope you're ready cuz you could potentially be very busy in the future

Quite the contrary, the MSM has been correct all along in their broadcasting Romney as the front runner because as we can see here, it ended with the POTUS calling Romney to congratulate him on his victory.

The Ron Paul people hate Rand Paul from what I can see. When Rand Paul endorsed Romney by saying he would support Romney were he the nominee a few weeks ago, all the Paul fanatics said intelligence skipped a generation.

No matter what a few may think about what Rand said a few weeks ago (which is news to me but I've been busy) they'll most likely be following him in the future, or not, doesn't matter, we'll never know. Either way, there is clearly a future for Rand Paul thanks to his dad and himself. Rand Paul does good work, but no one is perfect.

Who do you support? Or better yet, what do you support.... but seriously, who do you wanna see in the oval office?
