No, I am not any part of the "too big to fail" crowd. AHHHNNN the big buzzer just went off. I was Tea Party and AGAINST all the baillouts, including the auto, the stimulus, QE2. The auto baillout was part of the socialist plan to nationalize the auto industry and you can bet your booties I was against it. Let American car companies compete in real enterprise competition. But Obama bailed out the freaking UNIONS and the Unions are tools of communism. The Unions are the proletariat worker bees working the collectives while the Union bosses are the intermediary elites cracking the whip to make sure the proletariat do their jobs in opposition ot the petty bourgeoisie business owners.
And the Rothschilds sit right on top of the whole heap right now.

I have to go somewhere for a few hours but would be up for some genuine economic debate later on.

What that has to do with this discussion is beyond me? Since you brought it up though, I am quite aware of the difference between an atheist and an agnostic. I grew up a protestant Christian, but now I am closer to an agnostic, but my god or gods are not of this world and I don't care to corrupt this thread with any of that discussion.

There are immediate repercussions when mishandling or misusing a firearm. Every gun owner is aware of this to some extent.

The Chinese government does not have their priorities straight. For example, military personnel cannot be apprehended by police authorities.

Their system is flawed and their government is mad with power.

The United States is known to have one of the most dense civilian armament rates than any other nation. This is another form of independence and defense preparedness that other nations cannot match.

The Chinese have every right to criticize our second amendment right, as it is a preventative measure against foreign occupation. So please, do fear us.

You obviously know nothing of military tactics do you? When I was in the Navy my team of 10 men would routinely neutralize enemy fireteams of 75 to 100 men armed with RPG's, light artillary, mortars, and IED's using nothing more than light machine guns, rifle fire, and 1 heavy machine gun.

Its called elude and suppression, you don't go after the artillary guns themselves you neutralize the ones firing the guns. Quite easy to do with a rifle, impossible with fists, stones, or bows and arrows.

I think China wants to use international law to subvert our own domestic laws.

Everyone needs to be really careful about these international organizations. They are not for our benefit.

Europe is in a serious quagmire right now because they realize that they have given Brussels(EU) the right to make laws and subvert their own national law. There are groups in Britain right now fighting to be free from the European Union.

This is a threat from China. If the U.S happens to sign a treaty or joins an organization in the future we could lose our rights.

We are a member of the World Trade Orgnaization(WTO) and because of that we lose the ability to regulate our international trade to a certain extent. Membership deliberately limits the actions we can take regarding trade with other nations.

This is giving your nation's power over to an international organization. NOT A GOOD IDEA.

Not so. As with anything it will be done deliberately slow. It may take decades to erode our constitutional rights, but it will be done.

Actually as a civilian if you have the money and the inclination you can own a machine gun. It takes a 200 dollar transfer tax an EPIC background check permission from the local police chief fingerprints and a recent photo oh and 6 to 12 months of waiting and you too can own a legal machine gun in almost every state in the union.

As far as what can semi automatic rifles and shotguns do against mortars and artillery.... *grins* one hell of alot if you know what you're doing and are motivated enough.

The bottom line is the second amendment was made for a reason and it's one of the most important amendments of them all.

Really? I am curious do you live in the US? You obviously have no idea of US gun laws.

I'm a civilian and have several full auto machine guns as well as destructive devices (flashbangs, explosives). Its called a class 3 FFL with tax certificate and anyone not prohibited by Gun Control Act or Brady Bill can legally own such guns with an appropriate license.

Oh, and plea se inform me how my 16 years as a Navy Special Warfare Operator is irrelevant? People like you are really laughable.

Regulations are necessary because a conscience is not necessarily a part of capitalistic action. You really don't think environmentally sound business practices are beneficial to our country? If it makes us less competitive, add tariffs to Chinese products to help offset our higher costs. Beijing has the worst air pollution in the world now. Ever seen news about it or video? Check it out. Seriously. They shut down many factories during their Olympics and it was still horrible. How about pics of early industrial Britain or America? Or read up on the health costs of those days with all the lung problems and toxic poisons in the food and water. I still find it hard to believe that people don't think we need clean industry. Or maybe you don't have children or grandchildren or family or friends with family you care about? The funny thing is most people who claim to be anti gun are so ignorant about guns and gun laws as to make their opinions laughable. Why again do we let people who know nothing about guns make up the rules those of us who do know something about guns have to live by? It really doesn't make any sense and should probably stop.

The other portion of people that claim to be anti gun though are the ones I really truly dislike. They are the Bill Cosby's and the Rosie O'donnels and the California legislatures of this world. I am not for zero regulations, but in case you haven't noticed, the Progressives in this country have made it very difficult for businesses to operate here, while giving some kind of bizarre deference to China, and even in my post have I not pointed out the pollution that China creates? Why are the Progressives punishing us while giving China the green light? The only possible answer is because they can. It can be really difficult for some people to realize how much engineering has gone into all this, because China fell to Communism a long time ago, and TPTB have worked hard at bringing America to her knees to force her into the International Socialist plan for One World Domination. This is why there are so many top operatives working so hard at sabotaging everything which has been America's strengths.

I was listening to an ad on the radio today, and it was about a local land trust, and I realized the ad had every major buzzword from the UN Agenda 21 in it. These words are: public-private partnerships, NGO's, sustainable, stewardship and a few others which have sllipped my memory, but they are all directly from UN Agenda 21 as enivisioned to spread into local communities.

Why am I talking about this? Because it is the implementation of UN policies not voted on by Congress but being implemented right here in our local communities as if by osmosis. In short, it's the One World Govt running us without even the knowledge of most people.
Why don't I like the UN? It sounds all lovely and wonderful talking about sgtewardship of the land and so on, but it is really a Totalitarian centralized control of all the world's resources by some bureaucratic power mongers and they WILL ration your water supplies as well as everything else.
One thing these people understand about economics is the availability of resources and these people want to control all the resources. Do you think for mone minute they are doing it for your benefit? If you do think again.
But I digress. China signed the Kyoto Treaty and the US did not. The One World Govt has to punish us till we comply with that treaty. Meanwhile the Totalitarian Barack is working on a number of other treaties to force America to her knees.

But I would sure like to know what you think we should do for jobs? Surely we have enough baristas in the big cities. You want to keep the air pure but in the meantime we are supposed to buy cheap Chinese stuff. Isn't that just a tad bit hypocritical and short sighted?

Another thing I would like to point out in regard to China. China seems to have been getting the oil contracts and contracts for pipelines lately. Look at what happened when Barack decided to block the pipeline from Canada. Also China got oil contracts from Iraq after the fall of Saddam. Don't you ever even think about who is engineering this stuff and why?

It looks like China may think twice about invading the USA with 90 guns per person per 100 people. I need to buy around 88 more guns to keep up with the Jones so to say.
