That sounds like a great getaway place.
That's the shame of it though, isn't it, that most people have to travel somewhere to experience nature.
There is a philosophy and way of life that comes from being close to the land and animals that city and suburban dwellers loose. They really don't know how much they are missing out on.

They look darling as long as they are not within 40 km of your house.
Rats on hoofs.
Nothing good about them.
I would rather have wild coyotes in my neighborhood than deer.

Everbody's allowed to state his oppinion right?
And for some people, me included, animals like deer are just food and nothing else, that's their sole purpose and why they exist. I would never saw "aawwww cute" because they aren't. But least they taste good
