that's so interesting... Considering our polls inside Greece show a 7% advance of Syriza against Nea Dimokratia party... Kinda makes you think that ANYONE can make ANYTHING news... doesn't?

How is socialism working out Europe?

I hear they are trying to force Iceland to join them because they actually let their banks fail and now have a strong economy!

Economics is really not my strong point but I must say I just hope if they are going to be kicked out of the EU, they do it quick so the rest of us can start to deal with the inevitable fall out.

Fact 2: They simply milk the cow (greek citizens incl. myself) to see how low we can go.

I'm just curious, how did they milk greek citizens? From what I've heard and read, greek people had an issue of not paying taxes almost ever, had a fictive economy, getting paid (government jobs) for not working and a scary bureaucracy that can choke every country's economy and life. Isn't the greek government the one who borrowed billions of euros from EU? Isn't this the same government elected with the free vote from its citizens? Then how in the name of God is Europe's fault that Greece is in this mess and how can you play the victim by saying greek citizens are being milked? Strange line of reasoning if you might ask!!!

I never said greeks are lazy, actually in Canada I see them to be very hard working people. However my comments above refer to what most of the greek people living in Canada who have relatives and visit their country of origin in a regular basis say about the situation over there. You didn't answer again to my question though, was or was not Greece the one who borrowed all those billions?

your mistake is you refer to greece as in me and you about the choice of the politicians... did they ask USA civilians if they want to send their baby killers in afghanistan to "LIBERATE"? did they ask the north koreans if they want to live where they live? do you see the mistake of your train of thought?

You think we had any knowledge on ANYTHING that was going on? you must be in total denial of reality if you even think for a second the people have any saying or knowledge in any of this. not in greece only... in the whole freaking world.
you talk about loans... those loans you know where they go? back to those who gave it. greek people... greek citizens havent seen a single NICKEL of all those money... please then, before judging a whole country make sure you realise that WE didnt recieve any loan...

but lets say we do take it on the RIGHTFULL way... follow it by the book... then why hasnt GERMANY paid back the money they owe to us after WW2... The court of war had declared they should have paid us a huge amount of money. Where is it?

so dont tell me that everything is good and right and greeks did it wrong and we should be having freaking 362 euro salaries and work 10-12 hours a day when those money aint enough even for shoping at the prices of this EUROPEAN country...

Again your logic is failing to follow a straight line. Having a say or not in the decision of the government is an issue. blaming Europe for landing money to Greece is totally unrelated. Give Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar

really? then maybe you have complete lack of knowledge how the biggest scams CAME from european countries and their goverments... do you know anything about the SIEMENS scam? you know from those GOOD GERMAN PEOPLE WHO FOLLOW THE RULES... you know anything about the dysfunctional submarines that were sold to Greece for billions out of our pockets even though both sides KNEW they wouldnt work...

dude its quite easy to rationalise a thing like a whole country in 1+1=2 and i hope you'll never have to stand in my feet where i lost my dad 2 months ago... i have a debt you cant imagine and there is NO job to work and even if i had found i would have to pay triple the wage i would get on taxes...

I wish you wont have to live in a country which is being propagandised to SHAMEFULLY and all you hear is # like "you 're lazy" "you dont pay taxes" DUDE we pay our taxes.. i pay my taxes all ppl i know pay their taxes till the point where i have to choose between my taxes and to feed myself...

don't talk all high and mighty cause I NEVER (and by I i speak for the 90% of the greek population) had cheated my goverment in payments ever... what THEY did with MY money instead of use them good is another story... but ME... you have NO right to tell me i didnt pay and didn't follow my OBLIGATIONS as a citizen...

it obvious you have 0 knowledge on what the hell is goin on in greece and only followed what the tv news say...

just how all we know about Iraq is that bombs explode and that in afghanistan they mate with camels...

I wish you wont have to stand on my feet but i fear you will preety soon cause if Greece collapses after so many hits then all you guyz are next... and then i'll be the one pointing the finger to you saying "you deserve it"

IF YOU STILL DONT BELIEVE ME then hear it from a EUROPEAN guy... tell me that ONE of the things he says is a lie... one.

The sooner they leave the Euro the sooner us Brits can go back to Greece on holiday, maybe start buying properties again. The beaches will be packed, the hotels will be packed, and all will be good.

Farewell Greeks,waves.
Don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out.
That's what happens when not paying taxes, rampant nepotism and digging graves for your neighbors is your national sport.

Agreed. Heard enough from this country, deal with it. I've had the opportunity to work directly with Greeks in multiple industries and I can say first hand these are people I simply would never trust. I'm sure there are reputable Greeks....somewhere....but experience has shown me that they aren't so much lazy as they are dense.

Let Greece go she'll hobble along and the rest of the world can move on. Her economy is minuscule and her problems need to sorted out by her own people.

You couldn't be anymore ignorant. It's expected from someone who can't even put together a coherent sentence.

If the greeks leve the EU then they will have to completely rebuild their
ecconomy and society from the ground up. it means communism or nationalism
in the beginning or a vesion of that. either way they won't be able to pay their debts.
and that will expose other EU banks to collaps, spanish french an italian banks
are faily well exposed. the concept of "ring fenceing" is pure PR once you get a cacaid
of CFD's going pair shaped. in a world which is covered but trillions of CFD's a collaps
of international banks would trigger the Sh## storm. money would loose all value because their
is more in CFD's than actuall money. wheather it's greece, or spain or the collaps in
the chinese manufacuring or a bust housing bubble. The CFD cascaid is the real fear.

Pathetic... nothing more to say here... ignorance seems to be a sport for some... and you seem to gain the first place by far. I am out of here...
