That said I figure this guy will come down on his own eventually. Not like he has anywhere to run...No food or water. No air conditioning. No toilet...He is puking...

I doubt they will try to go up there because if his claim of having a gun...They wont want to risk getting trapped and shot... The best bet is to just wait for him to give up...And I think that is what will happen,eventually.

I think my sister just told me that cajjacking in Texas is a death penalty and if that's the case, either way way he loses. He might as well just kill himself up there and save the taxpayers the money.

If that's the case between the heat and the smell, maybe that alone will make him come out. We can always hope.

Texas is rather pro death penalty, but not THAT much. Some one that committed a car jacking would be looking at major jail time, but unless they killed some one in the process,they would not even have to worry about the death penalty.

I too hope this ends well. I figure they will just wait him out...Rather than risk going up there, getting trapped and shot. It seems to be what they are doing. Just waiting for him to give up and come down.

I honestly doubt it...Though he has apparently said some things that make me suspect he is a bit on the disturbed side... Apparently he told the cops he is "waiting for his appointed time". It is possible, but I am thinking that wont happen. I certainly hope not, anyway.


What the cops seem to be waiting for is just for him to give up and come down. He is up there with no food or water. No air conditioner or bathroom and he has been puking. I doubt he will last all that long.

The guy claims to have a gun but the police have been unable to confirm this as of yet....

My bet is that he gives up and comes down on his own.

Cops wont go up there because if he does have a gun, there is no real place for them to take cover should he decide to open fire. So the safest thing to do is just stay back and wait for him to come down on his own.
