Several bombs in northern India are
responsible for the deaths of at least 19, with many more wounded. Two separate bombs exploded in a crowded marketplace, and another on a railway
station. Another unrelated bombing happened at the same time in a neighboring state. The bombs are most likely from one of the separatist groups that
are at odds with the Indian government.

GUWAHATI, India (Reuters) - A series of bomb blasts killed 19 people and wounded more than 50 in northeastern India Saturday in the deadliest attack
since a cease-fire with the main separatist group in Nagaland began seven years ago.
Another bomb exploded in the neighboring state of Assam killing one man at about the same time. Police said the two attacks appeared to be unrelated.
Two bombs exploded in a marketplace in Nagaland's commercial center, Dimapur, and one at a crowded railway station, an officer at the local police

The mountainous area of northeastern India is home to numerous fighting groups each fighting for their own causes. Some want independence, while
others see India as an entity that steals their riches. This area of India is often neglected by the Indian government who choses to focus more on the
disputed Kashmir region. The Indian government has a cease fire agreement with some of the larger groups, but obviously not all. No matter what the
cause, targeting civilians in bombings can always be labeled as terrorism.
