I would agree that coc aine (and all drugs) must be legalized as the *only* action that will stop the trafficking and the worst of the negative effects. Drug abuse requires education and medical resources, not police resources.
That's the dumbest idea I've heard.
Why don't you just say it out loud ... put the entire population on drugs, and have them locked up in a cocoon, matrix style. Where they can live the rest of their days out in the matrix.
That's basically what you want ... and I say throw people like you into the ocean, that's a good start.
We don't need more junkies and morons ... we need more people with grey matter, they can use.

My father is serving time for moving huge amounts of the stuff internationaly, I know a little bit about this.
Now research the prison industry and who owns the companies that service this mega billion dollar cash cow - and get this rich people like GWB, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, the Kennedy's, Bill Clinton, all do drugs but surprise surprise they don't do the jail time we commoners do.
On 10 April 2006, a DC-9 jet landed in the port city of Ciudad del Carmen, on the Gulf of Mexico, as the sun was setting. Mexican soldiers, waiting to intercept it, found 128 cases packed with 5.7 tons of coc aine, valued at $100m. But something else – more important and far-reaching – was discovered in the paper trail behind the purchase of the plane by the Sinaloa narco-trafficking cartel. During a 22-month investigation by agents from the US Drug Enforcement Administration, the Internal Revenue Service and others, it emerged that the coc aine smugglers had bought the plane with money they had laundered through one of the biggest banks in the United States: Wachovia, now part of the giant Wells Fargo.

Why does this crap go ignored by the people, the media, the world? Yes, it sometimes get mentioned briefly but then it always gets brushed aside.
Its like people are in a stupor now, when things like this happen. The "officials" either deny it or just ignore it and we just accept it because we feel powerless to do anything about it.edit on 28-5-2012 by Juggernog because: (no reason given)

That's wrong.
Legalization does not mean everybody will use drugs.
In case you didn't know... everybody that wants to use drugs can do so, now that they are illegal. Legalization is not going to increase use, it's going to take the economic power away from the cartels.
That's why the war on drugs it's absurd, it creates the black market and the huge profits.

Did he just say that since the drugs coming into the Country weren't approved by him, it's smuggling? What does he call it when he approves a ton of coc aine to come into the Country?

well, ok, big man,...what the hell are you going to do about it...citizens arrest?...shoot somebody?...or just write a letter to your congressmen. this isn't ignored, we just don't have the power to go and arrest these people. we are not "sheeple", nor do we need to "wake up"...we need the power to physically take these guys and throw them in prison. but, try that, and you and your family will pay dearly...so who's going to be the first one to step forward?....bueller??....bueller??...no one?...yeah, didn't think so....talk is cheap

you are absolutely right, talk is cheap, and no one group, or person will stand first, because they, (CIA, DEA, BATF) are all to big to be taken down. we as the civilian population would have to mass by the thousands at their front door armed to the teeth to make any type on difference. it would have to be coordinated to work. but the government does a good job at keeping most of the masses drugged, fat, and pre-occupied to do anything worth while. IMHO I think all of these crooked agencies need to be put in a giant mass grave (alive mind you ), and then given the firing squad treatment. bulldoze the dirt back over them and call it a day........
even I could go home and eat a sandwich after that oneedit on 28/5/12 by gunshooter because: (no reason given)

Well, talk is better than nothing, better than pretending like it isnt true. Maybe if its at least talked about enough and loud enough, maybe something will come out of it.Probably not but what else can us peasants do, huh?
