If we ponder what we are and eliminate the intangible aspects of what we consider real, the things we fight for—society, social hierarchies, the economy, religion etc.—what are we left with? We are left with glaring fact that The Powers That Be—the idea that there is some sinister force guiding the events which serve to control mankind like a herd—is mankind.

Well now, there you go...there is part of the problem.. when you go and start eliminating everything that you consider "intangible" ..we can not grasp "air" but we know it's there. We learned through science that our eyes are limited on the spectrum, so we know there is more out there than out eyes can see. etc etc

I didn't mean literally; I meant in thought. Even so, air isn't intangible. We can grasp air, maybe in a balloon, or we can see it hit our sails, or we can see it as bubbles. We cannot grasp the economy, as it is intangible and completely made up by man..

You have forgotten to take one small thing into account...

As a fearful species, we will always look to someone else to control the variables in life. That is why we have erected God. Therefore, we will want someone else, the guy with the good dieas, to take over the government.

Unfortunately, when that guy suddenly decides that he wants HIS way, and to hell with what you want, everyone decides to go to sleep because it's less troubling than actually standing up and dealing with the problem.

TPTB are simply the people funding today's world. And if you don't believe in those guys...well, take a look at G8. They'll be inside our borders in the next few months.

G8 are the CEOs of major corporations operating worldwide. Their hands are elbow-deep in every cookie jar imaginable, because they are the big fish people go to when they want to get a high-potential industry or service off the ground. And in order to invest in those businesses, they require lots of moolah in exchange...which is why it has to be a high-potential industry. These guys like to have a constant influx of cash pouring every month.

If they don't have tons of green, then no one does.

Because the G8 are only a small part of it. Because that department of the system is so obvious, do you really think they would have their hands involved in all of the shady operations of the Machine? No...they simply fund it. Good ideas are discovered, and they are asked to fund the project in exchange for lots and lots of revenue. A charity here, a benefit there, they will find ways to feed the hand that feeds them.

Money is the blood of this planet, and it is required to do everything. Even hatching conspiracies.
