Hey all, thanks for the replies.
I've been listening and (trying mind you) to sing along for years. I remember my favorite was "Take a Chance on Me." I was about eight and for
some reason my mom hated that song. I'm not really sure why. I think she said it reminded her of a train or something.
I still think that song is my favorite of theirs. I ended up buying all their albums (CDs) and have listened a LOT over the past ten or twelve
years. I've even tried to learn some Swedish, in case I make it over there some day.
I was nine when they toured North America and of course I didn't get to go. Thanks parents.
I didn't particularly care for the "Mamma Mia" movie either. But I enjoyed singing along. The real thing is SO much better.
ABBA music is pretty upbeat and can make me feel somewhat happier when I'm having an ugly day. Although, their last album, The Visitors, was darker
than their previous ones.
Goofy sometimes they were, they were definitely not lacking for talent.
