The Biggest Thing That Gets Me About Racists

So I know this one girl who really hates black people. She can't stand them. I've never inquired why, but she's very racist against them. She even spent a year in jail for beating up a white woman who had a black boyfriend once. That happened more than fifteen years ago though when she was nineteen. Note, I am not claiming to be friends with this girl, she is just someone I know.

But here's the thing: she really enjoys hip hop and listens to it almost exclusively, well, except she also really likes older country music.

So I try to tell her that hip hop is not really for whites. It's mostly about black disenfranchisement with the white system of racism and bigotry. In other words, much of it is about how the white man puts black people down and keeps them down. Even though for the most part that's just not true.

She won't hear of it and always tells me to shut up when I try to tell her that.

So I do understand that some racist white people have some of the similar issues that some black people have with the system, but for the most part it is not about white people, it is about black people and what they've experienced.

I've never really inquired why she like ship hop so much so I really couldn't tell you why she likes it so much.

So this is something I've been thinking about lately is why racist people would listen to and enjoy hip hop. I really don't get it.

It makes perfect sense to me. She probably gets some sick and twisted pleasure from a black man dancing and singing for her pleasure. In a way, it may sort of fulfill a perverted slave/owner fantasy she has worked out. Certainly, nobody listens to pop music for its actual merit alone.

Hip hop is dominated by people of color I'd say but I would not say only for.
If you hear it and it brings you joy or makes you want to move, I'd say it was just perfect no matter what the color of your palms.
The thing I hate about racism is all of the Nascar events.
Racism is an out of date tool that worked for a bit, nowadays we humans are divided over other non important crap.
Maybe someday we'll learn.
But seriously we should abolish Nascar.

Humans are animals, no matter how much we tell ourselves otherwise we still revert to the tribal or pack mentality...

We are all racist at heart, If its not your pack you distrust it at your core, some of us are smart enough to see whats at play and adjust accordingly.

Its the dumb $#!^ that don't rise above their nature or upbringing to conquer the darker instincts humans harbor.

Just a observation the hip hop industry has investments in the private prison industry...Anyone noticing anything odd or see the obvious elephant in the room here? The monkey emulates the music he/she hears.Ends up in prison and the private sector or prison gains profit from government funds cause they secured another body of income.So I say let this racialist woman enjoy the music.You see she ended up in prison once from emulating the music she hears hopefully she commits a murder which removes her mutated half human DNA from the gene pool.

And also OP the simplest answer is usually the right one.Black people are just the epitome of danger and wonder to the european and that translates to amazement basically Black people are just cool and anything associated with them is cool and the european by process of elimination assumes if they emulate they are cool.

hmmmm, if you listen to most rap and hip hop, it is racist against whites. Most racists I know from the city are minorities. Most of the racists I know in the rural communities are white.
wait, I just realized that the large mexican population are very racist in the rural area I live in but alot of the whites are too.
Hmmm, stereotyping a racist is more difficult than I originally thought. But most are hispanic or black. Sheesh, the biggest racist I know is a molado that I have been mentoring for the past 15 years after his white stepdad died. That one is crazy to me. He grew up with white brothers and a white mom and stepdad but identifies with his gangster cousins and is becoming more and more racist all the time and he is BIG into the music. A masogenist as well calling women bitches, even his mom. I don't get it. Stereotyping is hard work. It takes alot of propoganda to get this race war going eh?

Oh, he is becoming very classist too from the music thinking he deserves bling but doesn't want to work for it. He thinks it is owed to him somehow. He is a great kid, he really is....but now he's 30...but still a kid. A big dangerous kid

I really dont understand the hatred. I think racial pride is fine but hatred toward others due to their color is just plain ignorant. I grew up in a very racist household and I couldnt understand it then and cant understand it now. I think its funny when a racist points out another person as racist and makes a big deal about them being racist when they are just as bad. Its just silly to me.

She probably responds to the music viscerally, on an instinctive level. Recognizing what is good about it on a musical/asethetic level is not the same as holding a certain set of political views. People like Hannibal Lector (fictional) and Herman Goering (real) were connoseurs of art and culture, Goering collected the art and treasures of the various European peoples he wiped out in war, other examples abound. She is telling you to shut up because there is no politically correct way to express that kind of savage, atavistic way of seeing.

The amount of time and effort placed into racism and class war fare could be spent so much more constructivly. I grew up in a black and white school, work with hispanics all day long. Have had gay friends, rich friends, and poor friends. Its not worth the effort to hate some one based on there color are income. If you talk to people for 10 minutes are more then you can figure out if there is a reason to dislike them.

It is another tool to keep the masses infighting and make it easier to control them. The day the goverment sees unity between the people, they will know they are on the way out. The only thing that gives racism a run for its money is religion as far as keeping the people divided.

We are still in a society where it is inappropriate for europeans to use the N racial slur in their vocabulary at least in public cause I know europeans use the hell outta the word when no blacks around whether in a racist term or social.Hip hop could use that word probably 50 times in one song atleast.So think here rationally dude hes right the music aint for you europeans.The fact europeans wanna listen to rap anyways is beyond my understanding....Example given its like me a non-european as I am with a straight face saying johnny rebel is for Black people too.
