I was reading through the threads and came to a conclusion, most everything I read on any conspiracy site is retroactive. Now this isn't necessarily a bad thing. I enjoy catching up on alot of these things. But on ATS, we have alot of sharp cookies, and I was wondering what we (as a people in the broadest respect of the word) could do to be more proactive. I mean, if 9/11 was so obvious in film and television before the event, how can we catch the next one, before it happens?

I know that's nearly impossible, and so does TPTB, that's where they get their kicks off blatantly showing us their plans. They know that once it happens, we'll all be like "wow, this or that showed us they were planning to do this the whole time!" So we're stuck looking backwards, in the past, instead of looking forward and preventing (or atleast revealing) their next big move.

So what do you guys think? How can we be more proactive, instead of retroactive?

Being proactive actually requires... work! Learning various disciplines of the mind and the body. That takes work.

Good luck with that

I honestly thought this thread was dead. Thanks for the replies. Appericated.

I know there's nothing easy about it, but there are people with super high intelligence on this site. Surely that brain power can be put to use to make intelligent and informed predictions based on what information we've been given. I know it's not easy. But it is possible, right?

This thread doesn't deserve to be dead, really.

We could stare at a news story till our eyeballs fall out, or we could prepare ourselves to deal with next 100 news stories. We seem to be doing mostly the former.

The first thing, I think, to becoming more proactive, is to think less of the "enemy" and think more of ourselves. That means less TPTB Illuminati Freemasons military-industrial NWO banking mafia woo woo talk. How do we solve our daily problems? A wise caveman once said: when one is hungry, one goes to look for food. While our purpose on ATS is not to physically feed ourselves, we have to think like the caveman. Would the caveman do pirouettes on the spot when he is hungry? Can we tell when we are just doing pirouettes on the spot?

Try the survival forums for being proactive

www.abovetopsecret.com...

There are a lot of subjects here that are proactive in nature.

Global warming, peak oil, WW3, 2012 elections, Geoengineering, Global meltdown, Predictions and others.

There must be peace between neighbors.

If there is to be peace between neighbors,
There must be peace in the home.

There must be peace in the heart."

Thank you both for your input. I learned more about bunkers and guns in this last 24 hours than I knew in 24 years, so that was fun. And certainly helps.

I suppose my question reaches into the impossibly broad. If all these messages of major disasters are so promoted (9/11, the Japan situation, BP oil spill, etc.), is there a way to put eyes on those TPTB messages to call out the next tragedy before it happens? Perhaps even prevent it?
I know this is a long shot, often thought, idea. I was just curious..if I had the answer, I'd offer more (though I did try to use my limited knowledge from the Illuminati card game to make a foresight prediction. Many others have with the olympics and all those strange symbols, etc.)
So, while I agree, the best thing we can do is be prepared, I was wondering what more we would do. As Socialist suggested, this takes work, and so I agree, good luck. But, I've always been lucky, and I know intelligence when I see it. And for every newb (like me), there are ten (more no doubt) brilliant minds on this site.
So surely, with a little effort, some directive guidance into studying the issues, we can perhaps deduce some of their plans (TPTB)? I don't know. To steal a quote from an average movie, "Intelligence is not a privilege, it's a gift, used for the benefit of mankind." I'd love to see an effort made by these brilliant brains (one's that make me feel uneducated, but in a good way, does that make sense? I like to learn...) put those I.Q.s into calling out the BS before it hits the fan. Because if we can call it, show people the obvious then perhaps we can become something of a prevention. If anything, maybe stop them rubbing it in our faces? Again, I don't know. Just thinking, and throwing out ideas.

Sadly TS already HTF back on 9/11/2001 and then again in 2008 with the financial collapse of the housing market. I think we're on the downhill slope now. Like most things in nature it's just going to be a slow process of degradation as we wait to be taken out of our misery.

Only a lucky few get to go out in a blaze of glory.
