Will or should Joren van der Sloot be extradited to the USA? Charged with murder?

He got 28 years for the murder in Peru but now faces extradition to the US to stand trial for at least extortion and/or fraud. It the 28 years enough?

If convicted here he will serve that sentence here and then probably returned to Peru.

Can our jails be tougher for him than a jail in Peru?

A decision by the Peruvian court should be rendered soon. He is fighting the extradition.

I predict he will be extradited lest US/Peru relations suffer. I also see him being convicted here but maybe not for the Holloway case. IF Peru has no death sentence that may be a condition we would have to agree to before they approve extradition.
