If women got paid more, they could spend more and businesses would have to hire

more people.

Sounds good!!

If we fight for that in 2012 then TPTB will take away all of the jobs (and our freedom) so none of that will matter.

I believe your heart is in the right place, young grasshopper, but you have a lot to learn about the way things are in the real world.

The conditions here in REALITY are a little UNFAVORABLE for equal pay issues!

I think he'll ignored it like he ignored this thread

www.abovetopsecret.com...

which showed that the GOP is trying to raise spending while they blast Obama for

raising spending.

Why don't you comment for him?

Unlike liberals, I wait for people to respond for themselves.

What's YOUR point?

Do tell me how Mittens will help this country.

#, he'll probably come in, FIRE EVERYONE and then give himself a raise!

You'd love that, wouldn't you?

That would be so lovely, eh?

An idea taken right out of the media spin on Bain Capital.

Why would the power that be take away all of the jobs?

How would they make money, if they didn't employ people to earn it for them?

He has a point

The tax cuts Bush passed were supposed to create jobs - those taxs cuts are still in effect and

they are not creating jobs, or are they?

Actually there are nearly million new jobs since the economy fell off the cliff -

Are all those jobs due to tax cuts?

I’m no economist but I can tell you that the business community’s butt puckered up in 2008 when Obama was elected because we KNEW the new taxes and healthcare expense were coming.

Since then businesses (business owners) have remained puckered (shell shocked) and we’ve refrained from any new capital expenditures because of the uncertainty in the market.

There is a lot more to the POTUS than fancy slogans and catchy buzz words….his intended direction (even before touching a pen in the oval office) plays in the minds of business owners.

The reason ROMNEY would be a better choice (for the short term) is for the same reason…the market will react positively.

They would take away life as you know it. All of the non-essential jobs would disappear. The essential jobs would all be paid by TPTB.

They need people to do essential things like fix cars, grow food, cook, treat water, make clothes, etc. All of the superfluous jobs would be gone…I’ll let you decide what those are. All of the essential jobs will pay next to nothing...so we're worried about CURRENT WAGES?

Bottom line is that things will change for the worse. All of the free market ideas you have will be gone. This is what happens if we don’t fight for the CORE ISSUES. Why is anyone worried about equal pay while our livelihood is being systematically stolen from us??????

Your a nice guy when you aren't been mean, but it seems like you are ignoring the economic

collapse. I am not sure if you are doing that to make your argument sound more reasonable

or if you did not pay attention?

Care to tell me which taxes have been raised on the community?

I think you are pulling the wool over your own eyes... there are many industries that

Obama is friendly to - the auto industry, tech industry, construction industry to name a few.

Romney would not be a better choice because the business model he believes in is

flawed. If he applied his business model to America he would cut out the middle class and

recapitalize the investors, or the BANKS. I don't think America needs a pro Bank

President right now simply because banks are taking their money to Asia. So Romney

will enrich investors and banks, but they will go where they have been going for ten years,

ASIA.

I nearly became an economist, Romney is what is wrong with American business men,

if you guys wanted a businessmen they would have been other more ethical choices

on the Conservative side.

Just to point out, Obama is no friend to the auto industry or manufacturing industry.

He's looking out for unions.

Not the aspect that hiresand actually creates jobs.

That doesn't make much sense at all -

You cannot make money or retain market share if you you fire you revenue stream AKA

employees.

What I am saying is, rich people TPTB as you put it, understand that their money

comes by employing other people to some degree. I am not sure why you would think

that TPTB would destroy their current set up. The rich people in the world are systematically

getting richer, they are the LAST people to want their labor pool to dry up.

Bottom line is that things will change for the worse. All of the free market ideas you have will be gone. This is what happens if we don’t fight for the CORE ISSUES. Why is anyone worried about equal pay while our livelihood is being systematically stolen from us??????

You would have to explain your beliefs more - what livelihood is being stolen?

Core Issues... you'd have to be very specific on those -

Deregulating the Financial markets will systematically steal from us

While

Deregulating Main Street would be a good thing

Unfortunately most politicians focus on the first one

You mean the investor class?

I think the investor class has enough politicians they grease on a regular basis.

The auto industry has come back - and it has helped both the workers and

management you are concerned about. The workers are still employed, off

welfare and the CEO's and Investors have been making good profit -

That is a win win situation -

And working on a production line is a job, are you confused?

Do you think executives work the line?

The super wealthy power brokers already have all the money they could ever spend in 10 lifetimes. Once they have that kind of money, it is a matter of maintaining power. I do agree with you that you cannot kill the golden goose and keep getting eggs.
A friend of mine likes to use the old cliche, "Socialism eats the seed corn", and that is true. What will the socialists do when they run out of other people's money to spend?

The socialists would ask you

What happens when one conglomerate has out competed and taken over all the others?

Seems like the socialists and the capitalists are racing to reach the same goal fast.

I wonder what the corporatists are going to do when the majority of jobs are mechanized?

Who is going to be able to afford their goods when there aren't any jobs left?

the socialists get austerity, like in Greece, too bad they'll have to work past

50 - poor souls hahaha

If you control everything and have slaves (basically) then why do you need income or profit? What do you buy when you already have everything? Just wondering!

Why are you rolling your eyes at me?

I hate to see yourself dumb your own mind down like this...

The world is filled with examples of Billionaires working after becoming

fabulously wealthy, people work because it is fulfilling. Don't you like to

work? The only people who don't like to work are the people who are trapped

or are doing something they don't like, there are some lazy people, but I think

most people enjoy working.

This system is being propped up by the Wealthy Elite, TPTB, the corporatists...

IF this system crashes, their wealth and power goes too, they LOVE this illusion.

Idle hands makes for idle minds, son

If everyones out of work or poverty stricken, they are in real danger - the have to

give enough to keep this going or they face extinction. Money is power, until

money becomes obsolete - then it is paper and a liability, because the pee ons

always look for heads.
