Obama Presided Over a Tax Revenue Drought, Not a Spending Binge

Year ----- Revenue ------ Spending ----- (Deficit) ----- Revenue/Spending Ratio

2006 ......2,406,869 .......2,655,050 ...(248,181)…………110.83%

2007 ......2,567,985 .......2,728,686 ...(160,701)…………106.23%

2008 ......2,523,991 .......2,982,544 ...(458,553)……..….118.25%

The wild drunken binge spending started here:
2009 ......2,104,989 .......3,517,677 ...(1,412,688)………167.62%

2010 ......2,162,724 .......3,456,213 ...(1,293,489)………160.19%

2011 ......2,173,700 .......3,818,819 ...(1,645,119)………176.04%

2012 ......2,627,449 .......3,728,686 ...(1,101,237)………141.83%

Highest Spending in History !!

2009: money spent=$3.52 Trillion

2010: money spent=$3.46 Trillion

2011: money spent=$3.82 Trillion (est)

2012: money spent=$3.73 Trillion (est)

figures from The White House !!!!!!

(see pages 23 & 24 in the pdf)
-->from the White House<--

Total Federal Spending <---

Can anyone "Justify" the massive increase in Spending ??

Compare years 2010 thru 2012 TO 2006 thru 2008

-->Tick Tick Tick<--

uhhmmm yes, i can justify it....the war spending was OFF-BUDGET during bush, it was put back into the budget by obama.
this is well known and is easily verifiable... but the right-wingers continue with this

Detailed figures would help that argument.

The above figures are money actually spent. Not wild guesses.

Go to the White House charts and quote the "OFF-BUDGET" amounts and then re-figure.

Obama the wild binge spender spent the money !!!!

EDIT:
Add link --> Military Spending

We need private sector solutions.

Like cheap credit, speculation and Bubbles?

No thanks,

We need main street solutions and we need government to keep Wall Street in it's place

We need a Tax Repatriation Holiday. That will bring $$$ billions back to the USA.

We need fewer regulations that are killing small businesses.

--------
Yep, just what we need. More untaxed wealth that the wealthy could "re-patriot" if they chose to be Patriotic Americans.

You mean fewer regulations that Obama has approved, at the same time in his administration, as his predecessor?

Indeed, just what we need.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not facts.
