Many computer games about aircrafts (simulations) have already appeared featuring a lot of planes: F-15, F-16, MiG-29, F-4, F/A-18, F-22, F-14, Su-27
and others. What other planes do you think will appear in new simulations?
Will EA-6B appear? Will Su-30, 33 or 35 appear?

I am currently playing MiG-29 and F-16 right now, they are fun as hell.
Lock On is also a very fun game. And you can play as the Su-33 in that game

I've heard (never played) that the game called X-Plane is very good, way less then microsoft's newest flight simulator but with graphics on par.
this game has several planes that are not on other games.
heres a shot of the B-2 from the game.

X-plane is several levels above MS Flightsim in many areas.
The models are better for the most part. The physics engine is more realistic. For quite a few aircraft types within X-plane, you can register
actual flight time with the FAA, rather than rent an aircraft and go fly.
X-plane is a professional level flight sim, dont diss it. It isnt a game, its a flight simulator. Quite a difference there.

One of my favorite flight sim games was "Jane's AFT Gold". You could fly just about everything under the sun in that game. The game is old, so the
graphics look like crap, but I loved it for the fact that you could fly so many differnt jets. Everything from early cold war era to the latest stuff
that's out there now. They even had the X-35/32 in there, but it doesn't look right, mostly because they just had the concept artwork to go off of
at the time. You can also fly everything from fighters to bombers and non combat aircraft, like a C-5 if you so desire. There were some realism
settings you could turn off. One letting you load up any kind of weapons and whatever aircraft you want. You could put some Russian missiles on a US
aircraft or load up the B-2 with some A2A weapons if you want.
Another good flight sim is "IL-2 Sturmovik". I think that's a really good WW2 flight sim. Decent graphics and the damage effects on the aircraft is
really sweet. Plus lots of aircraft to choose from to fly.

I was referring to cost when I said "its way less" and not graphics.
Simulator - Game - whatever, lets not get technical.

X-Plane IS the best and most accurate flight sim for PC.
i've flown F-15, F-18, F-16, F-22, F-35, F-**, Su-47, Su-30, Su-25, Su-**, Mig-25, Mig-29, Mig-29SMT, Mig-1.44, Mig-**, Il-76, Tu-144, AURORA ....
For X-Plane 7 there are 967 planes available
For X-Plane 6 there are 1,149 planes available
For X-Plane 5 there are 484 planes available
basically, you can fly any imaginable air/space craft in the world.
Spase-Ship One (X-Prize) is tested using X-Plane, same stroty with Carter-Copter...
and best of all, you can get it for free... yes, there are ways...

I had a go at Falcon 4, and it's bloody hard. Pretty mucn every single switch in the cockpit works. Lock On was a bit easier but requires heaps of
patience.

That's why Falcon 4.0 is the best!
Total Air War is like Falcon 4.0, except you don't need to hit every last switch. But it has probably the most extensive campaign-planning model. You
basically command the entire war. An amazing game.

I'm sure it is good, but I don't think I have the patience to learn to play it properly. I prefer games like Battlefield 1942 and Operation
Flashpoint which as planes in it, (not a big variety though) and can fly it with relative ease and get into the action. I've always wanted to have a
go at Flanker games, but they're a bit hard to find here.

I liked Comanche 4, it's not too hardcore simulator (some things are simplified) , but it's fun and I think it's perfect simulation of helicopter
combat - hiding behind hills, trees etc. You are fighting against Hokums, Havocs, Hinds and also against tanks, APC and soldiers with shoulder fired
weapons. The mision designs are also great.

Chuck Yeager's Air Combat

Why do you play them? They're such old games - 6 year old!

I have MiG-29 and F16 Fulcrum, if they are the same mentioned above. They came as a box set together, and I found them great for their time, I was
still playing SU-27 Flanker then. Then I found Chuck Yeager...

I always likes EF200, but i could never get to grips with the air to air refueling in it, so all my missions were short or with drop tanks.

F-22 TAW is good but only lets you fly F-22
Comanche 4 was very fun because in a helicopter, you are closer to the action
Anyone heard of Jetfighter V?
