6.1 Quake hits NW of Fukashima

A 6.1 EQ hit the island of Hokkaido. The quake was centered Northwest of the failing nuclear plants. There have also been several smaller quakes over the last few days just east of the epicenter. This happened at 15-02-25 UTC. No reports of damage or tsunami at this time.

Isn't that normal for the area? Just wondering as they seem to be getting a whole lot over there.

I certainly hope that the reactor didn't get damaged any more than it already is!!

Yeah, these Earthquakes are normal since Japan had the big one. 5.9s to 6.1s are nearly everyday or every other day now.

I think what's more worrying, especially for me, is the fact that Europe is getting a lot more Earthquakes than before. It's slowly edging towards UK

This appears to have happened in a new place. The other quakes have been east of this one. It appears that the quakes are moving west. This just after the quake in Italy and the 6.4 east of Japan. Expect movement in South America.

FYI, the reason it is a concern particularly for Fukushima, is the failing # 4 cooling pool for the spent fuel rods. This facility is already structurally compromised.. it has been stated that another quake in the right spot could cause a crack in the structure and empty the pool which is barely keeping the rods from melting down. and if this one goes, it could mean a global catastrophe for humanity with radiation poisoning

It's quite a ways from Fukushima and the nuclear plant. So I think we're OK here. I keep a close eye on the recent quake sites and my heart skips a beat when I see a big red dot near Fukushima. This one did it to me but could I tell it was far enough away after a second.

well a lot of people have been saying that the big one was coming... I think so too. I have been having this weird gut feeling for the past couple of month and I feel that something BIG is underway.....wish I knew what so that I could prepare. I guess time will tell!!!

Maybe the only way to stop the catastrophe is to sink it. Cayce stated that one or more islands of Japan would sink. Is this what he saw?

I haven't read anything about Cayce's predictions. I should give that a go to at be on the same wavelenght as all of you who quote him... would you happen to have a link to a good source of information about him? (sorry if this is a bit off topic)

I am expecting that Cascadia and San Andreas will be the next big one, and am just hoping that Vancouver will still exist when it's over. I just can't see the last big Cascadia quake back in the 1700's being the one that closes that cluster as there is so much tension building up and the gap between clusters can be 500 to 1000 years or more. It just isn't likely to hold off that long and the last quake in the cluster set is often the biggest, meaning we could be in for one huge quake.

If quakes in that area of Japan continue it will be a huge concern, given the state of that reactor. All it will take is one in the right spot and we will all be in grave danger.

Cayce's " There is a River ". Cayce on" Atlantis" are both good reads. You can also "Google" it. I've been reading them for 40 years.

How the heck would you go about sinking a whole country? I cant even imagine nature doing it much less humans....

Japan's east side did go down a few feet after the march 2011 EQ, thats why it seems "possible".

He says MUST. What could must mean? If you look at Fukashima, perhaps the only way to get rid of it is to sink it. Granted it is not the cleanest way, but what if there is no other way? Maybe it is the lesser of two evils. If it cannot be controlled, better to let it go into the sea. But that is just a thought I had. It is just in the way he says it. Makes me wonder.
