Sorry, I don't. Everytime there is ANY fluctuation in the markets they always cry doom and gloom or worse case scenario, trying to frighten the kids and anybody else who is gullible enough to believe it.

This is just a bunch of nonsense and probably wishful thinking from the political enemies of America. America will be around long after we're dead.

They downplay it if anything. They want consumers and investors confident. Its pretty much finished right now. Its been smoke and mirrors for a while. If you have noticed the losses in the last few days you will see that the markets are waking up. There are no solutions for Greece. People are in denial. there is no solution for the United States. Things are bad. Do you really think America can continue living on debt forever?

Ha Ha Ha.....are you serious? I don't mean disrespect with that but lets say US does remove troops at your Country's request. Then, lets say a half a decade away Your natural resources are owned, controlled, operated and the profits from said resources go into the great Pe King Pocket so to speak. Lets say that leads to social unrest and that social unrest is met with forces from the outside....Yeah Chinese troops along with your own soldiers. Where does that leave you.....Don't start yelling over hear bud! You made your bed....(you know the rest). Doesn't sound far fetched when you look at the theater around you does it. In fact it looks like a sequel if you ask me!

Well we fought off Japan ourselves. When your hero American General took charge of our soldiers he left them to die. McCarther was a coward. Dugout Doug. We didnt need your navy because the Japanese decided invasion of our mighty continent was impossible. We fight too hard. We have a massive area of land. And it wasnt worth it. containment was the strategy.

And I dont see that the Chinese are unfair trading partners. If you look at how America trades with countries like Haiti and South Korea, you will see unfair. China could not be any worse than America. You dont feel the Imperialism because you are in the West. You will feel it soon though. Austerity is coming. And its going to hurt.

And like I said before. China isnt going to want to go to all the trouble of invading Australia if diplomacy is an option. We are chinas second best friend. They would want to be our ally. Together Australia and china would be unstoppable. Especially when you add Russia. Australia tips the scales. especially in this part of the world. The East is the power and the future.

The invasion won't be militarily at the start....you will be paying your sewage bill to the fortune cookie enterprise buddy. Oh, and you fended off Japan....whoopy ding dong!....do it now big guy! Stop and think what your saying. I know the USA has problems but its core people (those not in power) are the ones who want it differenty and if we succeed, whether it be from blood or breath, I can venture to say that you will want back in. I suppose you can align with the BRICS, I see the advantages but remember where Russia was a measely decade ago and if the USA hadn't sold out its middle class long ago, China would still be using flint so to speak!

You guys will, want in with us. If you dont play by the rules and follow our orders you can expect sanctions and embargos. We may even arm Rebels in your country if they should happen to emerge. We will not rule out military action either. The US Nucular program is a threat to world peace so you must disarm. We will be sending Weapons Inspectors to make sure you comply and remove capabilities. Monitors and Red Cross will be sent to make sure you do not harm the Rebels or the NTC. We may also insist on No Fly Zones and cluster bomb your essentail infrastructure and we will not rule out supporting the Rebels with Air Strikes on your forces.

I hope the world is nicer to America than America has been to it.

One sentence:
Why have we not been invaded thus far?

Not gonna happen unless you like being chased by a barrage of swamp people on 4wheelers with AK's and thats just Louisianna. I know, I know, No match for tanks and jets and missles. In my opinion, an invasion on US soil would be what Afghanastan was to Russia but on steroids the like Arnold could only dream about. Unless its Nuclear....BRICS aint doin squat militarily to the US....on US soil!

I dont think they will invade. china will demand that you hand over the Reserve Currency status and slash Government spending. China will do this soon enough. I think America will try to start a war before then so they dont have to pay. They are already trying to annoy China. Look at the recent blind dissident bs. And the US increasing military in Australia. messing around with the pacific waters and stirring the Phillipinos up. The US will try to start war. Australia will be on the front lines while as usual America will be a world away from the War that they start. The world is getting sick of Americas obvious bs.

Edit- and if it does go to war,America will have New York and LA destroyed. Then they will surrender.

What?
You are clearly off base.
U.S. troops are always involved in every just and unjust war they start or don't start!

Now I see. Someday you may realize that when you make up your own definitions and use circular logic in an attempt to keep your worldview from shattering, you are only doing a disservice to yourself. Good luck with that.

And what is your definition of what we have today? What is it if it isnt capitalism? If you say socialism then you should read back your rude post to yourself. because we sure as [SNIP] dont have socialism. If what we have today is your idea of socialism then you should do more reading.

And by the way, corporatism is the problem. Not 'centralized government'. we need to pass legislation that limits market share and limits the multinational corporations ability to off-shore jobs. It can be done.

Good luck with being a cheerleader for capitalism. Capitalism is Apollo creed. America is Apollo Creed. Cocky and in denial. China and the BRICS are Ivan Drago.

America needs a Rocky Montage. And soon.

I mean geographically. australia is not far from China. America is on the other side of the world. Our alliance with America not only risks our economy but it puts our population in real danger.

America should get the hell out of this part of the world.

The Chinese economy is predicted to overtake the United States economy as the worlds largest in just a few years.

An economy that's based upon selling products to the United States.
What do you think will happen to China once there's no Americans buying cheap Chinese plastic products?
Their economy is tied to ours.

Brazil is probably going to be a major player but I don't know if it will want to go the superpower route.
Russia has it's problems.
India will perhaps be an interesting place if they can overcome some social issues that they have.

Its all about faith. America and the West will have none when the next GFC hits. It will be worse than last time. The IMF and World bank will collapse. The BRICS nations can trade amongst themselves. they are more than just Brazil,Russia,India,China and South Africa. Many nations hate America. South America is full of them Venezuella and Chavez hate American Imperialism. They are with the BRICS. Cuba, Argentina, even the South American nations that support the United States officially dont like them. Then there is Africa. America took out Libya so it could not introduce the African Dinar. But there are many other Nations that will follow South Africa and side with the BRICS.

The BRICS Bank is the key to it all. The BRICS will not collapse when the West does. The BRICS nations and their allies will be the new power. America will have to hand over the Reserve Currency.

The standard of living will drop dramatically in America very soon no matter what happens.

Just remember people who runs the most of the US retirement accounts is JP Morgan/Chase and Goldman Sach.

So yes America is terminal, JP Morgan originated the scam call swaps and thanks to them we are now going down the crapper, because scams will always turn into crap.

That's the thing ey? As long as there stíll are some funds left in the SS coffers, and something is left of the 401k's, the plutocrats will be salivating over confiscating that lást bit of money........and suddenly realize there is no-one left to pay for their scams, and that their dollars are about as valuable as reichsmarks in the 30's.

They are like a virus that kills it's host, and accidentally kills itself with it... A counter-intuitive sort of suicidal tendency that has permeated the plutocracy from top to bottom.....

The BRIC countries have already prepared for the downfall of the $. i wonder what will be next. The Yuan as world currency? The Brazillian Real?

A question for everyone in this thread :-

Looking at history, Hitler got lots of support and eventually into power when Germany was in a depression.

So is there a chance that a socialist government getting into power now that capitalism is on its last legs ?

btw, I didn't like how hitlers ideas turned out, I am just asking if this is a ripe time for socialism / Nazism to become more popular.

capitalism isn't on it's way out, fascism just took it's place for a while. there can be no free market unless we reorganize the legislature in a way that eliminates lobbying and corporate involvement on every level. corporations also must be stripped of their status as citizens which they clearly are not.

lots to be done but it can be done once this farce of a government has collapsed under it's own weight of dirt.

The final end of the Roman Empire came when the Empire could no longer afford to pay its soldiers. Same will probably be true of the USA.

When the Roman Empire fell, it lead to 800 years of the Dark Ages. I wonder how long it will take for the world to recover after the fall of the American Empire?

Nice thread, OP.

What is BRIC?

Sorry. Its Brazil,Russia,India,China,South Africa. All of these nations have come together. They are the core but many other less powerful nations support them like nations from Africa and South America. All these countries are a new power base. They will take over from America and Europe when the next GFC hits.

What do they have in common? Massive natural resources, Brazil has energy independance, China owns a large portion of the Western World's debt, China and India both have a huge emerging middle class, South Africa has major political problems but massive natural resources that can be exploited.
