I was just walking my dog.
And I look at the stars, one is brite?
I know that it should not be their and bright?

As I watch it, it very slowlys dimms?
And it is then gone totally.
Did I just see a supper nover? It did not move at all.

I am in birmingham 01:11 am GMT.
About 45’ or more. 130’ EES.
I did not see the start.

I just had hash browns and eggs for supper.

The eggs were a lot lighter than usual. Poor malnourished chickens. D:

You mean a supernova,right?
How do you know it should not be there?
I doubt it was a supernova you saw, probably just atmospheric disturbance.

What the hell is a supper nover?

If you meant super nova, no, you didn't see one. It would be visible much longer than a couple seconds. For example, in 1604 Johannes Kepler studied one for a year before he wrote about it. It wasn't until the 1940s that scientists realized it was a super nova. One hasn't been discovered in our galaxy since.

Don't know if you did, but, i doubt it. The last ?supernova? witnessed in the Milky Way was 400 years ago, though it is said they occur every half a century.

Some fundi will be along just now.

Im going to guess chinese lantern, They glow, look like a star (if it isnt moving which yes on a very still night once at altitude they can appear very still), and then dim and go out.

Ive seen one before that was still as, and confused me for a sec. Til another one came up

Hehe wish it was a Supernova. Maybe in November we'll get Betelguese?

Aww Paradox,
youre cool enough as you are

You dont need illuminati dried supernova for your supper, only celebrities who have sold their soul to the devil need such high class replenishing, to stop themselves from rotting away in to dry corpses. They need to feed on the light itself, you've still got yours inside.

OK I say in my sig. that I can not spell.
Thats not the point.

I said that it did not move. it lasted for two mins.

I have seen the space station fly by.
it is Very fast. BIG difrents from a supernove.
it could have been a small star that could not hold its self together.

Science still has a Lot to learn.
yes me to....

Ok, well if you must eat the Supper Nover, look away as you ingest. And hold your nose.
Also have TP ready for the morning. Just saying.

we're just messing with ya buddha!

for real though, it wasn't anything special like that. probably just the right atmospheric conditions to give it that illusion.

Dont get carried away either, you'll still be able to talk to everyone post indulging, don't be silly

After all, you need to be able to talk to the sheeple to tell em what to do.

You just never know, we only look at the skies in small portions, It would be so cool to see the last 30secs of light being emitted from a supernova, Well the last 30secs from light being emitted millions of years ago from an all ready dead star.

What direction in the sky and where abouts are you located for reference? Venus is stil shining brightly in the night sky and I suppose it could be possible for a geosynchronized sattelite to flare explaining why you said it did not move. But I am no expert, just a few ideas.
