I have discover a band reminiscent of the old 70's sound.

The band is Zeus, and with the help of Randy Bachman, from BTO.........the sound is back!

Me too. Big fan of Burt Sugerman's show. Here's one that might surprise. Ain't Paul or Gene singing this one:

Thank you!
Yes ,one of the few songs I can play on guitar.
My dad was a huge Clint Eastwood fan and had all his sound track albums.

Midnight Special was special. New bands played. Existing bands wanted to play there, and did. Man, what talent. Not my type of music but Pop was actually tolerable in the 70's. Also from the Midnight special:

Hey,man,I was far from the pop type, but my first introductions to music once I had my freedom of choice was a little eclectic.

One of my favorite bands. Couldn't find them on the Midnight Special. Great tune though:

It's not on the Midnight Special but it's a really good song by a really good band with the name:

That ain't out of bounds. My fav. band is Queen but the only 70's band that stayed true in the 80's was Purple imo. Another from that album:

That's just a good tune. Slaves and Masters was pretty good to. WAY after the Midnight Special though.
