“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.” ~ Buddha

Today, May 20/21st, 2012, for the first time in 26,000 years, the Sun and Moon, and the constellation responsible for our spiritual evolution and ascension, the mystic Pleiades, will align in a spectacular, full Annular Solar Eclipse and a rare solar eclipse alignment will happen between the Earth, the Sun and, our central Sun, Alcyone in the Pleiades Constellation.

Here’s some spectacular and breathtakingly beautiful images I’ve pulled from various sources showing part and full eclipses also referred to as the ‘ring of fire’.

SOURCE: Read more.

Please feel free to contribute any pictures, articles and/or experiences.

PEACE, LOVE and Happy May 20/21th and thereafter.

Just saw it from central west coast. Light is funny. Dim. Shadows on the ground are diffuse and fuzzy. The color of the sky is flatter and a third of the sun is missing. Awesome. Logging off to go look some more.

I saw it here in New Mexico it was awesome! I had a pair of the sun viewing glasses so that made it alot better. I don't have any pics though. Wish I did though

First, thank you for this magnificent thread!

(Erased. I guess it's just too far off topic. I'm curious to know who designed that illustration. I did check out the website's other pages and they appear to be supplying a positive message all around.)
On topic, those are some captivating pictures! I wish I could've been where it was visible. What a sight it must've been in person!

We just got through watching the eclipse. It was AWESOME!! I tried taking pics with my cheapo digital camera, but because I didn't have a special filter on it, they didn't come out. But, trust me, it was very eerie.

It got dark, the wind kicked up and it suddenly cooled off about 5 degrees. The "ring of fire" was neat to see. Our cats started to get weird, a few just sat there and meowed incessantly, the rest started running around like they were getting bursts of energy. It was strange, it felt "different", but totally cool.

I have never seen one in my 50 years of life, and I am glad I was living in the zone that made it possible to see it 100%.

Yes! Except it was a clear sky here. It was totally worth waiting the hour for the full eclipse.

Second, regarding the first picture illustrating the alignment, I'm seeing something really strange. Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me? But, does anyone else see an angry Earth getting ready to swallow the moon AND in the moon, I see a man's face and he's wearing sunglasses. Does anyone else notice this?

A pleasure Afterthought, I can vaguely see what you are describing, but I believe it is merely a case of Pareidolia.

What website did you take that picture from again?

I originally obtained that picture from here: suzanneliephd.blogspot.co.uk... , but it is also being used by many other sites including the SOURCE link in the OP.

Thank you for openly sharing your thoughts.

Today's "Ring of Fire" Solar Eclipse in the House of Gemini signals an evolutionary leap in the development of the human mind. It's energy will trigger the sudden and gradual manifestation of newfound intelligence, mental ability, and psychic function. This eclipse will move us one step closer toward total brain processing and will sharpen our minds as swords to shred through falsehood.

The following types of life changing events will escort this eclipse: the discovery of genius, quantum leaps in intellect, the mysterious command of new knowledge, the sudden need to travel, temporary dislocation, unexpected notices, receipt of authoritative information, surges in communications, dramatic changes in routine, memorable and necessary words spoken, solutions to hopeless situations, health and medical breakthroughs, new beginnings amongst friends, family, and relationships, and renewal in the lives of children.

Maximize this energy by being mentally alert, responding quickly, and by communicating effectively throughout the next few days. The time has come to cultivate new knowledge, develop unused areas of our minds, break out of stagnant routines, seek mental stimulus, polish communication skills, increase technical aptitude, strengthen bonds between siblings and cousins, and to acquire and modernize technological devices that support and enhance our connection with one another.

As the weeks unfold look for increasing appearances of pairs to manifest in your lives, especially pairs of people and pairs of choices. Authentic couples, twins, and twin flames will gain great strength from this eclipse; expect an amplification of your unified power. Innovation and inventiveness will begin to surge. Brainstorming will burst brilliant new ideas into life. On a social level rallies, forums, and public speaking, all charged with passionate speech, will work to settle forms of injustice.

In the world of technology energy and frequency carry information. It is no different for human beings. Although modern information exchange is primarily invisible, it is real. The same rationale applies to the receipt of spiritual information from higher planes and intelligences. Beyond this eclipse strive to be constructive, not destructive when communicating. Remember to balance intellect with emotion and knowledge with love.

A Divine reordering of the Earth will soon take place under this Ring of Fire. The currents of life will soon flow in directions most pleasing to His will and authority. The timing of the eclipse with the events below will be unmistakable and will serve to jolt many to the accept the multidimensional nature of life that speaks ever so clearly through the cosmos.

As our minds are awakened beyond previous boundaries I encourage my readers to telepathically speak (pray) to God and request His aide in becoming conscious channels of His will. It's the perfect time to merge our minds with a higher power so sublime. As men stand in awe at the darkening of our star we will be awakened within. And with brilliance unbounded we'll be surrounded by angels who'll work with a grin.

Thanks for addressing that bit of crazy I tossed into the thread.

I actually just erased it because I thought it was too out there for a Sunday night. I'm happy you found value in it.

I'm sure you're right about the whole "seeing faces in nature" phenomenon, but I'm also seeing an image in the sun, too, and I'd really like to know the name of the artisit or where the website obtained this picture. I always like to see when an artist may be adding in their own creativity and I think this is one of those instances.

Edit to Add: I just checked out the link you posted to the original picture. Thanks for that.
