the colors on Chicago's Flag match the color of the Helmets is officers are wearing.
Sky Blue.
those Cops live in this City, with their wives and children. they probably grew up here.
where are the protesters from?

your tax dollars are paying the salaries of Chicago Cops?
since you live in Chicago and Illinois...now you know your money is well spent.
If you don't live Chicago and Illinois...nothing you have to say is relevant to someone who does.
its a well established fact that once you enter into a municipality, you relinquish some of your Constitutional rights.
perhaps the protesters should have marched in the County instead of the City.
besides...i'm watching this unfold just like the rest of you and haven't seen what you are claiming.
wearing a mask in public in that City can get you arrested as well as walking in the middle of a street and disrupting traffic.
CPD is going to win the PR campaign...
i'd imagine that Chicago gets Federal funding for one thing or another and I don't believe that the protesters have no right to complain about their treatment at the hands of Chicago Police...I just don't think they should expect much.
just because someone said there is an issue doesn't mean that there is one. and this whole thing is being taped and watch by the entire city and everyone that lives here more or less.
crime has dropped in every area of the city this week. everyone is watching.
all i'm saying is that CPD has far too much strength for these 'protesters'. also, they could sweep those people off the street like litter anytime they decided to do so, but they aren't doing this.

Well, I wish you the best of luck then my friend. These cops are easily outnumbered, and if these people chose to rush them, they wouldn't know WTF to do! I am not advocating violence and I do understand that you live there and all of this is an inconvenience to you and all of the people who live in Chicago. But seriously, WTF did ya'll expect when the wonderful Fed decided to have this meeting there???? Can you not see the insanity in this decision??

CPD alone has over 100,000.
when the protesters decided to come they must have known they were overmatched.
State and County is out there too.
