So when I die, will the God in everything leave everything in order to manifest to little old me?

IF God is everything... he would not need to "leave" anything... or manifest to you...

You shed the phyical body which is the part of God that decays and dies... and "return" if you will.. to what we were before birth... the part that is eternal...

22 Jesus saw some babies nursing. He said to his disciples, "These nursing babies are like those who enter the kingdom."

They said to him, "Then shall we enter the kingdom as babies?"

Jesus said to them, "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter [the kingdom]."

Not sure why i quoted that.... just seemed appropriate

That seems like a sound interpretation of Paul's "heavenly dwelling" in 2 Cor. 5:4.

If I run across any books that deal with that issue in a substantial way, I will be sure to grab a copy.
So far I have not, and it seems to be something purposely avoided by commentators.
