Are they actually covering it with live embedded reporters or just mocking it by giving 30 second clips leaving out the good parts and returning to talking heads.

They mentioned the medals being given back, but they pretty much just glossed over it.

How can you say, what's going on is positive? You DO realize, all that "security" costs MONEY, right? Money that you don't have, right? How is that POSITIVE? Oh, and guess who's gonna be paying the bill? The same protestors that are "protesting". You do also realize that more laws will be passed, taking away more "freedom", right? You people are friggin' insane.

You know what's even CRAZIER....we're fighting each other....while the "mighty decision makers" are looking from their penthouse suites.....LAUGHING. Protestors have families, cops have families. Cops have problems and the same dilemmas, as do the protestors.

If people would ever combine forces and realize who's really screwing us all.....THEN change will be made. But check it, cops got bills to pay, and mouths to feed....and therein lies the problem. They are LOYAL to the hand that feeds them!!!!!!

Is that why the cell phone jammers went into effect? So they could beat and there be no recordings? Come one I know there are electronic warfare specialists out there who could have bypassed or equally effected the opposition

They quit serving and protecting us long ago! They only serve and protect the corrupt elite now. So sniping sad!

The police surrounded them and are preventing them from going anywhere, the crowd is getting very agitated. Violence and clashes between the police and protestors just happened.

It looks like they are going to use LRADs on them. This is something right out of a George Orwell novel, they are telling them to be calm and please leave the area while they have them surrounded. "Thank you for your cooperation" and everything, right after beating them.

Yeah, I hear people getting upset. This is crazy. If the police weren't there there'd be nothing for the protesters to get upset about but the law is provoking just by being there AND surrounding them... damn, this is nuts.

Not once during the two days I've watched have protesters been violent. Now the police decided to start provoking. This is ridiculous. This will be all over the YouTubes in the coming days.

CNN is trying to paint some of the protesters as anarchists. Not sure if this is actually true...

"Chicago police dept" coming over the loudspeaker threatening LRAD use and ordering the protest to go west.

Yes, just wanted to make sure.

CNN live coverage changed to talking heads as the LRAD moved in.

They also didnt cover the medal throwing or anything, just when cops started pushing on protesters. Then they switched over.
