It's ironic you say this, considering that many of the concerns raised from birthers are sourced from websites on google.

Bennett isn't doing his job. His job isn't to verify and vet presidents or president candidates, the constitution hasn't given him this authority.

And he could have found that answer by simply going onto the official Hawaiian health department website, where there are numerous statements concerning Obama's birth.

Seriously, it is a simple request, show it and shut them up once and for all. Instead we wait years for a forged document, then people wonder why the Birther issue wont die? Arizona has asked for the Birth Certificate, show it. Instead you have Hawaii saying to prove they actually need it. This is just silly. Proving they need it, is pretty easy to do when the guy is running for President. There are requirements and laws. Just show the damn thing and get it over with and put the issue to rest...................................

Bennett said he got more than 1,200 requests to require Obama to produce a certificate. Interestingly, he said that he couldn't even get an original copy of his own birth certificate if he wanted, but he said there's a special provision that would allow a Hawaii official to confirm just by email.
"If they can't say yes to that simple question, it makes me wonder if we have to take it to another level," Bennett said.
