Over the last week I have made it to 105 work units and exeeded 2412 hrs. Hopefully I can get another comuter hooked to mine and network them for faster results. Does anyone know how to listen to the sounds we analize? Links?

I have 320 units done in 2216 hours. I built the machine with an AMD 2400. I too asked about listening to the sounds and was told that they are too raw to listen to. I emailed the seti at home site and was told they are not made to be listened to. Sounded like the guy didnt know what else to tell me. It would be really cool to find someone that figured out how though.

Up to 133 and 3097 hrs. I don't believe they have programs for us to hear the recorded data, as from what I learned they say its not meant to be listened to, which is bull. Its sounds we can hear it, if it makes sence or not is up to us, right. Perhaps soon they will let us in on what we been decodeing for them. Untill then, who knows besides Berkeley.

Although I've never tried it, I believe you can download an add-on for the Seti@home client software that converts the data unit into a .wav file.

Try this link at Berkeley: setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu... (down the bottom in the Other Add-Ons section)

Or there's this page:
setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu...

Hope this helps! Keep searchin'
