from 1000$ per person.

with the leaders receiving from 7000$ to 35000$ in fine...

will quebec stand for this new law that will affect every new gathering for whatever cause...

i guess the night will tell...

For English readers:

The National Assembly cracked down on student protests with an emergency law that includes measures requiring demonstrators to inform police of protest plans and strictly follow them, to stay far away from campuses and to avoid disrupting classes, or face heavy fines.

Yes we have all sorts of laws over here in the US on the size demonstations can be, where you can demonstate, you have to get permission and permits...They now have it so if you demonstrate too close to a "special event" or "person" you'll go to jail for 10 years.

England also has restrictions and also Australia has them too.

I think the Governments would just like a small polite e-mail for airing of grievances.....

Yes massive policing of freedom of expression is now the new normal, it's very sad. Hope things are going ok for the Qubec students, here in the US the main event is the G8 meeting in Chicago, yesterday Nurses/Occupy were being "supervised"

still a few 1000 took the streets..
plus another 6 towns in quebec for over 10 000 in the streets..
makes me feel proud for this generation of young people, i never toth it would be
their generation that would rise to the cause... all power to the people...

How is their employment situation in Canada ? I know over here it is very difficult for the young people, even those with degree's to find work, I heard it is also very bad in Europe. Yes I hope they can make a difference.

Soon we will all go to shool to work at wall-mart

we will pay to learn how to work for minimum wages

than we will give 30% of our pay check, so about 70$ out of 100$
than go to buy some things at the store and pay 15% tax at purshase

wich means for 70$ we can only buy for 55$+tax = close to 70$
55$ out of wich we need to pay for our house, our electricity, car, gas, telephone, tv, insurance...and again more taxes....
and than we can to eat S##T, while watching crappy tv, and getting drunk..

until tomorow when it all starts over again
