I have to ask what is a "doom porn" because when you say that all i can think of is the video game Doom and like the Pinkies and the other demons making out and it kinda made me sick to my stomach... lol

In my opinion if you cant handle the content of a thread, story or what have you, you should be smart enough to avoid them. You would think your fight or flight response would kick in before you drove yourself mad, well at least i think that but then again maybe im an A-hole.

Well at least her mind and spirit are resting now and nothing can bother her anymore.
It takes extreme courage to kill yourself and people think about it because it's normal to think about it. Who hasn't especially in this world on this planet. This girl was screwed lol but now she knows all the ultimate answers.

It's hardly the first time things of this nature have manifested themselves, from Jim Jones, to David (sp) Coran in the Waco incident....the list goes on for millenia.

The debt that all men pay eventually comes to pass one way or another, and being concerned about it to the point of accelerating it (by way of suicide) seems overly dramatic AND counter-intuitive to what it is the worry is about in the first place. It's illogical "Im worried about the world ending and dying, so let me kill myself?!"

Frankly, the Earth and all creation is a destructive process with a footnote to ongoing ....

Just like Yellowstone will one day come to life and erupt again shrouding the world with it's sulfuric acid droplets and a global freeze, so will many other cataclysmic events.....


If this girl thought it was a good idea, well, so be it, as cold-hearted as my attitude may seem.

My condolences to her family..... This world can be a harsh place to grow up in.

Teenage girls and suicide? This must be a first time event. Must find cause of this rare if ever combination of unfortunate events...... Must be those wacky conspiracy site fault since nothing else could be the reason. Shut them down before more teenage girls kill themselves.

It's an unfortunate situation and I'm disheartened that her parents didn't see the warning signs, but come on, 2012 doom is the only cause....

Courage????? Really????? I think you are mistaken it takes being a gigantic coward to kill yourself. It is true most people in there life will think about doing it some multiple times but they don't because they are not flipping morons.

People who kill themselves are weak, they leave there family in friends with a terrible scar in there lives one that no amount of anything could ever remove.

well i dont think conspiracy sites are to blame,she just failed to get the mental care she needed it was obviously affecting her the family should of noticed or her friends or school they are the ones that failed this child or nearly adult,shame on them

forgiveness and love? I have had family and friends who have taken this road out, and i have forgiven them and i do love them but it has done nothing to erase the heart ache and pain i feel from them not being here now.

you tell me how to get rid of that pain, the pain i see in there families eyes every time i see them?

It takes courage to live to ask for help to keep fighting a losing battle, it does not take courage to give up on a life.

The weak shall leave more room for me.
While tragic, I cant help but think that, for man to progress and solve the issues of today, we don't need her.
Weak, negative and runs away from problems.

I probably should not post this but I'd guess she found out the world wasn't going to end and so decided she had to take matters into her own hands. Just a hunch.

Because think about it, if you thought the world was gonna end in a few months, why commit suicide? Doesn't make sense since you will die anyways in a few months...

That's a tough row to hoe but I still am enthustaic about life.
Never thought about killing myself because of a terrible disaster or war.

Sudden death is always near each of us.

I do feel sorry for her family and friends.

Obviously she had some mental health issues and wasnt an ATS member, if she had been a member, then she would have had more resources to answer the needed questions and clarify the unknowns. ATS is in my opinion the best source on the web for debunking anything or getting things investigated.
