My bad, sorry. Well, in that case I can so-so agree but that is because I don't know all so well. I disagree about Greer, he seems to be a serious researcher but also puts some dose of belief in his opinion.
John Lear is an interesting person, Idk why you banned him from ATS.

John Lear continues to support Bob Lazar's story - is it 'best friends forever' 'support each other forever' thus, lie together I do not know. He claims that this Element 115 exists/

John Lear also believes that the government is working with aliens in Dulce and other facilities.

He is contradictory, idk what to think of him.

I must be a very naive person because I just can't see someone standing up, claiming to be an authority on something and then lying and manipulating people. Obviously there are charlatans out there and actively working on making a living.

Do people begin to believe their own lies and this is why they seem so convincing?

Are they crazy so they think what they are saying is true?

Are they hired simply to muddy the waters so anyone genuine is obfuscated?

I wish I could believe in many of the things these people say, it would be awesome.

What are your thoughts -and knowledge- about Timothy Good, people? The guy sounds legit and the stuff he writes and says is pretty amazing, but a few details are sketchy...

Plus, most of his damn books are impossible to find as PDFs, and extremely expensive in print format.

Philip Schneider: most controversial case, in my opinion, when it comes to knowing if he's for real or not, which is pretty much impossible, and also for the disturbing scope of his theory (that aliens were already here for a long time, living underground, feeding off human glands, and are now taking over governments from within). The stuff he said is both insane and makes sense at the same time.

I disagree with some of the people you have listed. For instance, Dr. Greer.

You wrote.Briefing presidents-cia-will smith and everyone in between about ufos, for 39.99 and someone who dosent check the credentials of the people he invites.

May I ask if you have checked the credentials of all the people he got to testify? I have and they seem to be pretty legit. If I spent a ton of time writing a book and investing on getting it published, 39.99 is not a lot of money.

Go to Amazon it's cheaper.

If you're going to make an accusation, at least back it up with proof, otherwise go trolling over at God Like Productions.

Keep him on. he also says Sasquatchs live on Mars and points to a very small rock in a NASA photo to "prove" it. The only people who have "corroborated" him are fellow nutjobs.

Check out UFO Watchdog. It's dated now, but there is still a lot of good information in the "Hall of Shame."

Lol... So many flags, and yet so little content! Not soley aimed at you OP

You wonder why you have liers and hoaxers out there, it don't take much to get you going, just an observation, no more, no less

Any one wanna add some in depth and correct detail to this thread? I pardon me self as I'm on me mobile

But surely a thread named as such as this should hold factual and valuble info, to seperate it from the rest? Best post so far is the second one.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I think it would be useful to watch this video also with photos of his autopsy.

To me he is legit but unlike debunkers and believers here I do not think all is 100% true or 100% false. I think some of the things he says are true, like the existence of a base somewhere in the Archuleta Mesa, did he shoot aliens or he made that up - idk - there is no reason to say all is false and I do not understand why some fail to think it either has tp be 100% true or 100% lie when it could be partial. He's been murdered and many murders are officially 'suicide'. The video shows something in support for the existence of the Philadelphia experiment

I think Norio (Haikawa) is a useful researcher as well.

That's about 1% of his testimony, disingenuous much? And you know he is incorrect how?

Off the list.

Follow me around much? I'll make it easier for you.

Yeah... the story of his targeting by unknown State spooks is an evidence by itself. As much as the ban on the English Wikipedia. At first the guy ooks like some average Joe from the South, but listing to him is quite convincing.

Michio Kaku As you can see he has that posture so yeah he fits here. And at least as ufology is concerned Kaku has the credentials he claims he has.

His appearance on Fox News concerning the "Mysterious California coast missile launch", was nothing short of an embarrassment. Not a hoaxer as such, but not to be taken all too seriously on "controversial" matters.

How absurd. I've read his "book" on the subject. He says he went to Mars as a child. He says there is a civilization there. He says there are saquatchs on Mars and his evidence is a rock about a mm in diameter that vaguely looks simian. He says there are dinosaurs on Mars. The man is a complete loon. he is the kind of person who makes the study of UFOs a laughingstock. There is no evidence to back up what he says. You want more? Here it is. Here's his "book" where he explains his great discoveries. And hey! You can become a member for $25 per year or $100 for a lifetime! And you can buy Project Pegaus coffee cups and t-shirts and even a ceramic travel mug. Get yours today!

And you call ME diingenuous?

ON the list.

And why in heaven's name would I want to follow you around? You've been here how long? A week? If you've got some evidence, let's see it, but simply calling me names for presenting contrary evidence is an ad hominem fallacy.

If you haven't heard Lear do an interview in the last year or so, don't. He's lost it, almost completely, word on the street is he's on serious meds.

They're not really Ufologists but close enough.

Bad -

Jamie Mausson
Bob Lazar

Good -

Erich Von Daniken

All the rest have been named.

It's all entertainment... all of it and 99% of posters here at ATS are here only for the entertainment...

And what is wrong with getting money for providing entertainment? It's America, land of free enterprise where the market and demand dictates the flow of money.

So until we have an alien corpse on CNN or another Venusian ship lands on the White House lawn...

Its all just entertainment... and you all have most likely paid money to see a sci-fi flick...

So stop bitching
Your all just jealous of the guys like Jaimie who are popular and getting rich.

I agree here. We should be making a list of the credible Ufologists.
I've almost given up on the UFO phenomenon. I think EVERYTHING has been debunked or called military craft. I don't know if TPTB have done this, or if there really is absolutely NO proof of UFOs.

There have been several interviews with J.Maussan where he has stuck his neck out for his work. I don't know if it is because he has to defend his pocket book or because he really is passionate about the subject, but I'm willing to believe either.

Ed Walters, Gulf Breeze. Hoaxer...

Rendlesham Forest, Bentwaters. Colonel Charles Halt. Not Hoaxer...

www.ufoevidence.org...

Travis Walton, "Fire in the Sky". Hasn't been debunked yet.

I didn't know there were "good" ones?!?

I'm still waiting for a credible event that isnt somehow tied to or having occured near military bases.

With the military always conveniently nearby "UFO" occurences its pretty easy logic that the mysterious craft are experimental aircraft, OR events are staged as propaganda for diversion, funding, fearmongering etc.

Anyone who claims that Grays are a bonafide alien race needs to be added to your cleaning the closet list.

They're made up fiction and any real expert on alien lore should know that. If not heres a hint: "LAM" (first pencil sketch of a "gray").
