Disco queen Donna Summer has died aged 63.
www.bbc.co.uk...
'Love to Love You Baby' was required listening for many teenage boys of my generation!
A sad loss.

Wow, what a surprise. First Whitney Houston, then Adam Yauch, now Donna. As the saying goes, they come in threes and what a trilogy of tragedy it has been. I'll never forget listening to her music during my younger years and the joy her great songs and voice brought to me. Together with Gloria Gaynor the ultimate Disco queen. R.I.P.

"If you believe in forever, then rockin's not a onenight stand!" If there's a rock n' roll heaven, I'm sure they have a hell of a band.... band... band.

I was thinking "this is old news" but realized I had confused Summer for Whitney Houston. The timings of these so close seems rather odd, maybe they ran in circles that did some illegal things - who knows?
She was a talented lady with a powerful voice.
Shame she won't be here to sing anymore.

She felt her illness was caused by inhaling 9/11 dust.
This is one step too far.
This is rebellion.
She will guide us peacefully through this.

Absolute Legend in my opinion. "I feel love" still goes off in any club.

My personal favorite.
