Yes this will affect all of us.

But most will go into denial and keep complying quietly because that is currently the way it is.

Untill the majority demand a change this will continue.

The changes has been asked to have a more transparent government
caring more for the health of its citizen

The Nationaly Security must have voted to deny everything
it mean the national security is not doing their job to protect the population
it only protect the rich ass of the elites

If the radiation is as bad as many ATSers are claiming with higher risks for those on the US West Coast, is there any evidence that shows that the super rich, scientists, or high ranking government officials have moved themselves and/or their families away from the West Coast since March 2011?

Has there been an exodus of sorts of the "elite" from California over the past year?

You stated staying indoors as a way to avoid fallout, thus decreasing the amount of vitamin D in your system which leads to its own range of health problems not to mention everything else that goes along with leading a sedentary lifestyle. Obesity anyone??

If we are being irradiated as many independent scientists are saying we're all @(*#$&*#, may as well do the things you enjoy while you are able. Staying indoors and hiding from the environment is merely going to postpone the inevitable while robbing you of quality of life.

Plus, the stress created by worrying is likely to make the worrier sick sooner.
It's not about being in denial, but whatever amount of radiation is around us, is in the air, water, ALL food sources. Some will permeate your shelter, unless it's lead lined. Then there's the worry about lead poisoning....

What is it people are supposed to do? Give up air, water, and food?

I figure the longer I can blissfully ignore the situation, the longer it will take to get ill.
Stress is very very bad for people.

Im more scared about the young kids and babies who will be more affected
its them that should be protected at all cost
because they are the future generation who will suffer more of this
if no actions is taken right now by the government to reduce the risk of being contaminated
the human species will not go far in a fallout wasteland where even plants cant grow

read up on the reports by the Nuclear Physicists about the status of Number 4 cooling pool
and how it will be a catastrophic outcome if they get a quake that drains the cooling water
in the pool.

No. Approximately 6km west of Vancouver Island all radiation makes a roughly 97 degree turn to the south thus sparing Vancouver and all of it's residents any exposure.

What does bankers resigning have to do with anything? Are you saying a majority of these bankers lived on the West Coast? I asked whether there is evidence that "elite" persons en masse have been leaving the West Coas?.
