Both main parties are the problem...

The problem goes alot further than just the parties.. it is the whole system.

The companies and people that provide funds to campaigns and re-elections are the ones that influence things.

Haven't you ever noticed that no matter which party wins the election, things always end up the same! Nothing gets better and we always end up complaining.

It's an illusion because no matter whch party wins... things never seem to get better. We think they do at the start when a new party is elected but then soon realise that it's BS again and start complaining again.

This happened in 2008 and is happening again now and will happen again....

Let's just say it

Ron Paul will save this country. A vote for Ronnie is a vote for a free America. People need to understand that he is our savior, the second coming. If we crucify him this time then it's all over, let's win back this country.

Ron Paul 2012!!!!!

I will refrain from engaging in this fruitless argument on either side. But I do think its interesting that the Democrat claiming that Republicans are the problem is arrogant enough to put his/her thread in the "US Political Madness" topic, but the Republican claiming that Dems are the problem has the presence of mind to realize that this is just a rant... I think that is very telling!

The blame game continues, it's not the left nor the right, it's front and center. If we allow them to control the they will control, sooner or later we have to break the cycle, and take the power back. Just saying....

Indeed. Unfortunately the Republican who started this thread doesnt have the decency to admit he is a Republican, while the Democrat who started the other thread (based on an article, not just her opinion) admits her allegiance.

One has to wonder why the OP goes to such lengths to deny being a Republican, even as nearly every post he's ever made is straight from the GOP playbook.

I agree with everything but your title. The problem is much deeper than one party. It's the whole ingrained system. Everyone is shackled to it.

You guys are too focused on the details. I'm telling you its a moral issue of greed. If you can't find a clear answer to what you're arguing about, take the argument up a level of simplicity and see what pans out there. This is how we are controlled so easily. They provide so many problems and things to divide us that we don't realize the real problems. Some realize it, but most are oblivious. I'm going to assume most of you are oblivious at this point in the thread.

You're right, a vote for Ron Paul is the only answer for ending division among us, we need to unite and vote Ronnie into office.

We need to consider the outside Possibility that Ultra Liberalism may be a psychological disorder and even a psychiatric "illness" !!

It seems we see more "delusional" and swift attacks against "conservative" views than the opposite.

Many seem to be attempts to "steer" a reader or listener away from the main topic or problem.

And many think Liberalism in general is "delusional" in concepts and (failed) results.

These two links have some interesting theories.

Is liberalism truly a mental disorder?

Noted Psychiatrist Says Liberalism a Mental Illness

Let's see what kind of responses (if any) we get from this discussion

The question is:

Do ultra liberal idealisms seem more "Wacky" than ultra Conservative idealisms ?

Come on now say it we all know its true from the days of Teddy Rooselvet moving forward to present day. Social engineering has been the greatest failure in modern history.

Never before in this entire nations history have people never been more broke or dumb downed to where they will vote based off a simpleton slogan.

Yes people never before in this entire nations history has the government power and control been so large and the people's power even been miniscule.

Yes there is a never ending battle between the left and the right been that way since the creation of this most fascist glorious "free' nation.

Of course both sides will sit there and blame each other hell i do fight fire with fire sure why the hell not.

The GOP is a smidgen better than the left for the simple reason of liberal progressive creations of the Federal Reserve Act,Medicare,Medicaid,Departments of Education and Energy that do nothing more that reward mediocrity and failure.

Yes people liberals will sit there and say damn you, you should love us!!

I say for what creating the largest zoo in the world if the wildlife ever returned to their natural state they would perish.

Really are they serious what that tripe?

How the hell did this nation ever become the most "Richest,Powerful," nation that ever existed?"

America is in decline because people can't get their heads out their collective ideology because they think they know what's is better for them than what you do.

Blah

Nope. The REAL problem is that voters bother to differentiate between "republican" and "democrat". We only have ONE political party in this country... The Corruptocraticans.

Lol another let's whine about the liberals without doing any research thread.

Whaa the liberals started the Fed reserve. You do know that the fed is nothing more than a variation of the Aldrich plan a plan that was started by a republikkkan.

Medicare and medicaid are part of the "war on poverty" which also includes head start, food stamps and job training. Back then the government thought if we are the richest most powerful nation in the world then it just looks wrong for people to be starving and dying in the in the streets. You may want to look at the latest blowup on medicaid D something your boy Bush came up with and he was a republikkkan wasn't he?

Why are you even mentioning the dept of education when it was the republikkkans who doubled the size of it and then cut funding to it thereby forcing students to go into debt for the next 10 to 15 years so they can be slaves to the banks.

So next time you may have a better whinefest with a little research.

I think they are equally unhinged. The difference though in practice is that the "Ultra-Conservatives" have soundly taken over the GOP, while Democrats have moved to the center in an attempt to accomodate the new extremist right. Thus the loud dissatisfaction of Ultra-Liberals with the Obama adminsitration and congress.

The problem though is with an extreme right that declares the President a Socialist, Terrorist, Ursurper born in Kenya, even a center-Democrat is viewed as "Ultra-Liberal".

From the position of the extreme right, if you aren't willing to beat a gay man in the street, you are an Ultra-Liberal. The extreme right HATES the word "Moderate".

A sense of humor is neccessary...I notice you didn't dispute the premise?

AND...Just because it is timely and came out yesterday...

House Passes Violence Against Women Act That Leaves Out LGBT, Immigrant Protections

During the House debate, Democrats charged that the GOP bill would actually leave victims of domestic violence worse off than they are under current law. Unlike the Senate bill, the House proposal discourages undocumented immigrant women from reporting abuse without the threat of being deported. It also makes it harder for Native American women to seek justice against their abusers, and it leaves out protections for the LGBT community altogether.
