Some people may recognize the title, the rest will not, but anyways....

Ann Coulter, even to her freinds has been quoted as "a horror show of epic proportions" and "a bitch". Why? well, in one book, called Slander, she said she had footnotes, which was a lie, she had none. She had end notes, but no footnotes. Most of them were bull# by the way. She says in one endnote that Reagans's approval rating only fell 5% after Iran-Contra fiasco. But the Gallup Poll, a credited and scientific poll, said it had fallen 16%. Hmmmm.... 5-16, big difference.

Another thing, Ann's main thing is how the media is liberal, the internet is liberal, god is liberal, everything is liberal, her pet cat is liberal. But, what she does is lie lie lie. She said that New York Times is liberal for when she did a LexisNexis search for the time Jesse Jackson was in Germany and gave a speech on british tv, she said they didn't have it for it made the Liberals look bad. But what did she search? 'Jesse Jackson and Germany and fascism and South America'. Well no fricking duh, Google wouldn't be able to find any matches to that. What you need to do is put in 'Jesse Jackson and Britian' and guess what? New York Times did do an article on the speech he gave.

Or another thing she likes to do is take parts of a article and put it in as the New York Times saying it. Like...... "The church is co-responsible for the holocaust." and "Did the NAZI crimes draw on christian tradition." But the second qoute came from a 2001 BOOK REVIEW, the question was in the book which was about a 400 year old play done in Bavaria that portrays Jews as evil. The first qoute came from an article where a critic of the church is quoted saying that.

Or another favorite of Ann's, site a source, but make it up! She said that Frank Rich(a New York Times columnist) said that Ashcroft should stop monkeying with the Muslim terrorists and concentrate on extremist anti-abortion groups. What did Frank reall say? He told Ashcroft he should meet with the Planned Parenthood people. Frank never wrote/said monkeying, or terrorist, or Muslim.

Or she uses 780 endnotes, which no one reads. In the book, "The New York Times calls Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas a 'colored lawn jockey', 'house negro' and 'race traitor'. But what was actually written? That the stuff came from a PLAYBOY interveiw and quoted a black leader of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.

Another thing for the diva of the hysterical right on page 68, to support her claim that the media is controlled by the Liberals, says that Newsweek Washington bureau cheif Evan Thomas is "the son of Norman Thomas, a four-time Socialist candidate for president". Actually, Norman Thomas was the 6 time candidate, not 4, and came up with the idea of Social Security. Also, Norman Thomas isn't even Evan's father, or grandfather. Use Google, LexiNexis, or even the New York Times archives for the obit. Or call Evan Thomas, who said that no, his dad is not Norman Thomas.

Also, Ann is currently committing a federal crime. Her Connecticut drivers license says she was born in 1961. Her Washington D.C. license says 1963. Which means she registered to vote when she was 16, which is voter fraud. Anyways, she lied on one of the licenses, a government I.D., which is in violation of federal law under the Patriot Act.

Now, with some statements she makes in her book Slander we have....

"Liberals Hate America."
"Liberals hate all religons except for Islam."
"Even Islamic terrorists don't hate America like Liberals do."
And my favorite!
"Liberals can't just come out and say they want to take more of our money, kill babies, and discriminate on the basis of race."

Hmmm, bull!

Then, after 9/11 she has these little gems to say in the New York Observer.

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity." Hmmm, sounds like the 5th Crusade, or 6th, to many to count.

"My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building." That was in the same article as the first one.

Remember, this woman says that political debate in this country is insufferable, and it's all the Liberals fault! In her own words...
"If liberals were prevented from calling republicans dumb, they would be robbed of half their argument." Hmm... and what does she call people who don't kiss her ass?

Christie Whitman-Birdbrain. And. Dim-Wit
Katie Couric-Airhead
Adlai Stevenson-Boob
Gerald Ford-Dumb
New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson-Truly Stupid
Maine Senator Susan Collins-Half-Wit
Jim Jeffords, Vermont Senator who defected from the GOP is... Half-Wit and Dumb!

Also, she says Jim Jeeford's degree from Yale can not be cited enough. Yet on page 33 her answer to people who say Bush is not to bright?... "Bush graduated from Yale College."

Hmm, the Diva of the Right is a god to most conservatives, but to the rest, we see this and well, who knows.....

Ann Coulter annoys the hell out of me.

Everytime I see her on TV I change the channel. Not only is she annoying but she looks like a dude dressed in drag.

I had the displeasure of seeing this witch on Fox News once. All i saw was an arrogant, ill-informed woman who made these ridiculous comments designed to shock. When I saw her she made me think there's something very, very wrong with America today. People like her are the ones who hate freedom and anyone who doesn't believe in her views she just screams at and slanders.

Just an example why i'll never understand the right-wing.

thanks,
drfunk

Yeah, she even gives fine, upstanding Conservatives a bad name. Anyone that makes Pat Buchanan look like a moderate has a screw loose.

I don't care about most pundits, but people who follow Ann and Rush have got to be the lowest common denominator of our society.

It is insane, Ann Coulter even lies about her freinds. The author of Lies and the Lying Liers Who Tell Them is supposedly freindly with her according to her. According to the author? "When I met her she is lucky I didn't call her the insane bitch that she is." Hmmm, sounds like a freind to me!

Or how she goes on about Gore inventing the internet. He never said he invented it, he said he helped create it. Which is true, he provided the funding needed to start up a little thing called the internet when he was a senator. Ann's response? "Look it up in a thesaurus, create and invent mean the same thing so he said he invented the internet." Which he never said he did, he just provided money to help the people who invented it fund it. Ok, freindly and intamite in a thesaurus can mean the same thing, so did Ann mean she was having sex with Al?(The author of Lies..)

Or Ann said that since Nascar was a strong conservative sport that the New York Times did not report Dale's death until 2 days after it happened! But wait, look it up in the New York Times Archives and look, Monday, a front page article on the death of Dale. Hmmm, so she lies, again.

Something is seriously wrong with her and anyone who thinks she is good.

Well Nerdling, don't think the mods would approve of that title, and that is the title in the book, so used it. But, while I use the info from the book I change it around, move things around so they are in my own words, so not plagerising(sp?)

Annies strikes me as that girl that shows up uninvited to a party, drinks her body weight in half an hour, and then goes on a rave about how every other girl there is a slut. You'd tell her to leave, but you're just too scared she'd rake your eyes out

The first time I ever saw her was on Hannity and Colmes. I instantly disliked her because she spent way too much time being insulting and sarcastic. Even Hannity seemed annoyed with her after a few minutes. She didn't seem to make a point, just was like one of those little dogs that yap yap yap but couldn't really hurt if they had a bite. I can't imagine anyone including her in a serious conversation of any kind. A bad representative, not just for her party but for women, humans, mammals and earthlings.

Esoterica, wow, great discreption!

Anyways, Yes, but enough people bought her book until it became a best seller. So obviously millions think she has a point, besides the pointy claws she will use to claw your eyes out.

Right wing representative here!

Thanks for finding something we can agree on.

I'm no Ann Fan. She's our Michael Moore.

Both give me goosebumps, the fingernails on the chalkboard kind.

Happy now?

I've never been a fan of Ms. Coulter, but when she attacked Max Cleland, I believe she crossed the line when she did that. Not to mention her version of the story, with Max going to drink beer, was totally ridiculous.

The foul mouthed she-dog!

It this kind of... well i was going to use the word thinking here but... attitude (there much better word) that makes the worldview of americans so surreal. She can get away with spouting such fecal matter with all the trappings of grandure and publicity she needs.
Ths stuff can really get into peoples ideology especially when it goes unchallenged. One or two ideas and statements can then implant themseves in unthinking sheepl without any fellings of uncirtainty or doubt moulding their worldview into a slightly more bigoted whole.

Ann is having fun being the only girl in a male-exclusive club. She needs a good ratio to recieve attention from guys.

She-Wolf of the SS wannabe.

Ann, if you were a MILF you'd be Ok. You don't even have kids though. Stop wearing dresses made for 16-year-olds when your 43. You could be my mom.

I look at all the intelligent responses here and I realize why the nation is going to pot.
There are more mindless comments on her looks than anything else. We also have the typical SS comments (Brainless, undefendable, not worth attacking except some people might even be stupiditer than the regurgitator of liberal assault plans and believe the crap).

We have crap like, "Ann is having fun being the only girl in a male-exclusive club. She needs a good ratio to recieve attention from guys. " from people who haven't a clue. Do you think Ann is the only woman in the Conservative side of things? You'd better do your homework. You are wrong, dozens off. There is no need in commenting on the usual attack on clothing, that happens everytime the lovely libs go after a conservative. Never mind the fact that thepoor lady laughs about it herself, being almost as tall as I am yet trying to wear dresses.

The comments like, "...she looks like a dude dressed in drag.
" is also typical rabid leftist attack. Were a conservative make such a comment, that person would be guilty of all sorts of sins, from being unkind to the target as well as making fun of protected creatures such as drag queens and what not. How dare a conservative even refer to a drag queen! Yet you types are more than welcome to attack a conservative in such manner.

Here's a real jewel, such a cerebral message I can't believe this entire site isn't turned over to the rule of this guy, "I feel sorry for whatever poor bastard crawls up next to her at night!

I can't imagine that voice screaming sweet nothings into my ear without going completely flacid
"
Yeah, I here your boyfriend says you're always flacid. Oh, was I being mean? Did I say something horribly cruel? What, are you going to whine, considering your offensive crap? Go ahead, moron, you know where the Complaint button is. Thomas Crowne has had more complaints along the lines of, "He's a Super Moderator and he's being me to me!!" than any other moderator to date. Bring attention to your post. More people need to see just how much of an intellectual you are.

Here is my favorite, "Yeah, she even gives fine, upstanding Conservatives a bad name."
What is the definition of a fine, upstanding Conservative? Anybody? I'll tell you, there is no true definition to that in the mind of a liberal. It would be an oxymoron, as a fine Conservative won't do, say and vote as CBS tells him to.

AS far as the Max Cleland attacks, where is it? What attacks? Are you suggesting that for some reason Max can go on the T.V. circuit, say whatever he wants and he is to go unopposed? Very interesting attitude, I think. Look here, a portion of the column in which Ann "attacked" poor old Max, a veteran who is loved by libs (Why? Because he is a fine, upstanding veteran. Translation, one who is a fellow Lib.):

"On "Hardball" Monday night, Cleland demanded to see Bush's pay stubs for the disputed period of time, May 1972 to May 1973. "If he was getting paid for his weekend warrior work," Cleland said, "he should have some pay stubs to show it."

The next day, the White House produced the pay stubs. This confirmed what has been confirmed 1 million times before: After taking the summer off, Bush reported for duty nine times between Nov. 29, 1972, and May 24, 1973 more than enough times to fulfill his Guard duties. (And nine times more than Bill Clinton, Barney Frank or Chuck Schumer did during the same period.)

All this has been reported with documentation many times by many news organizations. George magazine had Bush's National Guard records 3 1/2 years ago.

All available evidence keeps confirming Bush's honorable service with the Guard, which leads liberals to conclude ... further investigation is needed! No evidence will ever be enough evidence. That Bush skipped out on his National Guard service is one of liberals' many nondisprovable beliefs, like global warming.

Cleland also expressed outrage that Bush left the National Guard nine months early in 1973 to go to Harvard Business School. On "Hardball," Cleland testily remarked: "I just know a whole lot of veterans who would have loved to have worked things out with the military and adjusted their tour of duty." (Cleland already knows one Al Gore!)

When Bush left the National Guard in 1973 to go to business school, the war was over. It might as well have been 1986."

I can see why you might not like her. She pays attention. She sees your hypocricies and points them out. You despise Nexus-Lexus because it is a tool that is used against you.. No, Ann is not flawless, everyone makes statistical mistakes and Conservatives are no different. But from where I sit, your petty insults in contradiction to your demands that the rest of us be politically correct says loads more than anything that I tried to gleen from James' difficult to read post.
By the way, James, I tried to read the post and found it cumbersome, but I am going to go at it again. You deserve that much respect, I'd say, and I appreciate your jumping into the political fray. You are jumping in there like a boy-dog and I commend you. I think you're pretty much wrong on all accounts, but I commend you!

James Carville is going to retire one of these days, you might want to put in for the position! He is beyond a doubt one of my favorites!
