NPC is usually a term for non player character, in rpgs and other games, these are the townfolk and others you'd encounter in games like world of warcraft, dungeons and dragons, etc

Does the OP realise that it is he who may be brainwashed. Basically, if you don’t hold the same cynical worldview as the OP you are brainwashed.

While I agree with some of his points, I just don’t think it appropriate to be so demeaning to other people who hold a contrary viewpoint and called them brainwashed and (by implication) somehow lesser or capable of being informed.

1 - They quote from Democratic Underground and think they are stating wisdom and/or fact.
2 - They quote from MSNBC or FOX as if what was said is unquestionable truth.
3 - They watch Morning Joe.
4 - They have Vote for Obama or Romney signs in their front yard.
5 - They have Obama or Romney bumper stickers.
6 - They think the 'global warming is manmade' hoax is actually really happening.
7 - They think they couldn't possibly be brainwashed or led astray by the MSM.
8 - They still read newspapers and think those papers are actually reporting 'news'.
9 - They trust Eric Holder, Nancy Pelosi, and the other politicians in Washington.
10 - They just LUV Al Gores' carbon credit scam and think it's really good for the world and not just Al Gore's bank account.
