This is not new but I'm surprised this story has not been vetted out. Especially on ATS.

Found some new pics. What is this?? Please, someone tell me black mold is growing in their own city with some sort of explaination. It will make me feel a lot better. Or, it's the Fukushima fallout?

fukushima-diary.com...

It looks like dirt, and maybe it is.. the problem? It's radioactive.

I would have to say that that's sand...wet sand tends to look dark when wet and black sand would make sense out there considering that there are volcanoes around the island. The same can be seen in Hawaii and Alaska. However, it wouldn't surprise me that there is a lot of mold esp black mold given how everything has been soaked by ocean and death.

Hey,man,I have my good days and bad days,so bear with me.
The black sand? Maybe .
The granules off a roof? Thats what mine look like.
Without actually being there and familiar with the local conditions,I can't say.
240 k bequels?
That part gets a bit confusing.
I'm thinking that it's wrong.

Here is a chart ,sort of simplified.

xkcd.com...

The difference between the raw physical units describing radiation emitted by a radioactive material (measured in units like curies and becquerels), versus measurements designed to reflect the different amounts of radiation energy absorbed by a mass of material (measured in rad or gray), and those that measure the relative biological damage in the human body (using rem and sieverts), which depends on the type of radiation. (Rem, rad and gray are all used as the plural as well as the singular form for those units).

Whilst I was researching nutrition for radiation poisoning I stumbled across this strange fact.
Moulds and fungus grow bigger and better in radioactive situations.

So with all this extra radiation, moulds and fungus will becoming more of a problem. For asthmatics and people with respirtory illnesses this could become a serious problem.
Also it is not a well known fact that we have fungus in our blood and this will start to grow too!!!!

I was hoping the Earth would find a way to avoid this next stage.

Saying that, personally I have had an upsurgeof fungus in our allotment and veg patch; a weird pink slimy fungus and a button type mushroom. Although I like mushrooms I am not eating them.

I and my family have been poisoned by Aspergillus nigus (black mould), we ended up with yellow fingernails, respiratory problems and CFS like symptoms. That was three years ago and we are still ill.

Bad times globally, coming.

My heart goes out to you. We can be afflicted at any hour without any preperation to combat these. Fight hard.

So what is this black substance??? Dirt? That gives off radiation readings?

I have got to tuck my tail in a bit,UFO.
I have started a bad habit of reading threads without looking at the links.

Sample was taken after decontamination.
The sample contains soil, sand, and water other than black substance. (Water ratio is not announced.)
Sample to consist of only black substance and water (Moisture content = 71.4%) contains 309,000 Bq/Kg of cesium and it’s 1,080,000 Bq/Kg when it’s dry.
It therefore will be more than 3 times higher if it doesn’t content sand, soil or water.
Pu238/Pu239+240 used to be 0.027 before 311.
This result shows it’s 0.808. The analysis was done by Japan Chemical Analysis Center, which is outsourced by the government.

enenews.com...

Just a little confused by that statement.

Also wondering about what they are burning,as far as the debris.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I forgot about that thread.

I've come across a few articles, most specifically from enews, and this "black stuff" has always interested me.

I kind of find it hard to believe it is a type of mold though. I do think its directly related to FK, I read somewhere that speculated it might actually be a form of ash or something related directly to the nuclear process/early explosions at the plant. I don't know how legitimate that idea is or if its even possible. I'll have to try to find the article and post it here.

Either way I've always had the thinking that whatever they talk about the least, is what we really she know the most about. Seems like "mold" would be a lot better of a cover story- even if its toxic- than something that gives a clue to how bad the situation really is.

kdog, I am not a science guy myself but have been consumed with the Fukushima threads the past year. I might not chime in every thread but i read them. If it wasn't so late, I would propose a drinking thread, well maybe tomorrow night. OK, a quick drinking thread within this one. If SFP#4 collapses within the next hour, I challange you to a shot, every 5 minutes until....

Itswhatev, thank you for posting... it's weird that even the non-MSM news, like enenews.com are not taking a more direct approach with this story... makes me wonder.
