Oh God this reminds me of an conversation I had with someone the other day about Sodom and Gomorrah.

From what I gathered from this conversation it is apparently ok to rape and gang rape and ignore rape as long as you are not homosexual.

im christian i have many friends who are gay. i m not against them. but know that gay are wrong in God's eyes. Bible say love your enemies. i love my gay friends. but i m not support their action. God's kingdom dont allow Gay, Thief, Liars and sex. u get idea. God's Kingdom not same as this world earth.

I wish religions would follow their guidelines and ideals and just stop practicing their faith. The contradictions burn!

Really... So the thousands maybe even millions of other species of animal are abominations? Trans gender and homosexual behavior has been observed and noted in over 1500+ species of animal which include birds, mammals, insects, reptiles and fish.

We are a species of animal and a product of evolution! We hold no greater importance than any other forms of flora and fauna on this planet, it sickens me to think that people don't see themselves as an animal and it is because of speciesist ideals being taught by mass media, religion and spirituality.

though I'm sure some will claim this scientific proof was either made up by the Illuminati to pollute our minds with homosexuality or that science doesnt matter anyway seeing as how demons taught us that stuff.

I think that all religions have their intolerant elements.

Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, Christianity are all religions of human beings. Human beings who are insensitive, kind, angry, sad, happy, insecure, etc.

You're dealing with people, not machines. Judge the individual.

Don't get me wrong. I abhor discrimination of any kind but we are reaching a point where it's becoming a crime to say what you believe without being accused of being 'this-or-that-a-phobe'. Someone has to hold the line.
To all gays out there, I believe you should have equal access to services and that no one should harrass you.
That doesn't mean I think it's 'right' or 'natural'..

What you people are proposing is for man to stop being man. Yes, he has opinion, man has opinions there is nothing you can do about that.

Some men hate gays, some men hate the african americans, or the foreigners.

Is this a good thing? NO OF COURSE NOT. Racism and bigotry is never a good thing but if you try to silence the voice of man you destroy human kind.

Humanity is its opinions good or bad everyone has them. AND YES RELIGION HAS THE OPINIONS TOO. Sometimes they are opinions that are wrong, what can you do about it?

The human man is faillible and says the dumb things and says the bigotry. Yes, that's true. And yes it's true that RELIGION is part of that, CHRISTANITY JUDAISM MUSLIM HINDU JEWISH all is RELIGION but it is MAN'S RELIGION not ROBOTS RELIGION.

We need to take the good with the bad and that means allowing the man to have a good opinion or a bad opinion. not removing his ability to HAVE opinion. Even if it's bad opinion we have to have it.

Homo sexuality has been frowned upon since the dawn of written history.
Thing is-- in this thread singling out Christians is blatant Bashing bigotry.
No different than some of all walks of life have done towards gay folks.
All these so called evolutionist have their heads in dark places.
If they didn't they would understand that Big Pharm has as much to do with this problem as anything.
I have no problem with folks being gay. I am Christian. That alone negates the premise of this thread.
Fact is there is freedom of religion here in America. It is called CHOICE.

If politicians decide to recognise religious institutions, it is to be equal.
Your anger isn't towards gay people, or tolerant people, or people whom just want to laugh at religion..its with politicians putting religious institutions in a position where legislation can effect them in the first place.

Once things enter a political arena, civil rights apply.

Well, if everyone thought that way, there would be no issue.
But people want to condemn and repress others based on a lifestyle they don't agree with (yet is perfectly legal).

Personally, I think homosexuality is gross..but I also find anchovi's gross also. aka, not my taste, cringe a bit when thinking about the gross fish ruining a perfectly good pizza, but I am totally not bothered by others having a love for it...hell, stack em on, just don't give me a piece.

But then again, I am secure in my hetrosexuality...if homosexuality became the super cool popular thing to do, I still wouldn't participate..simply because the thought has no appeal to me.

I question people whom suggest homosexuality is a choice.

Wiccan isn't. Buddism isn't. many religions are neutral over it..so that is not entirely accurate.
the abrahamic religions appear to be, moreso than many others anyhow.
