If a Republican were in office, Fox News would consider anyone who opposes such drones a terrorist or anti American, just like those who protested the 2004 Republican Convention.

The hypocrisy coming from the righties is severe and repulsive.

Ahhh partisan time!

So with Obama in office, you're okay with it?

LMAO. I love how when they are talking about shooting it down they mention "libertarian" like it's a bad thing.

Honestly... what in the HELL is wrong with your media?

I agree with him, but I would recommend that people who plan on actually shooting down drones to wear a ski mask and have a good exit strategy..

There was a guy in Blaine Wa who was having trouble with border patrol always flying helos over his farm and hovering low making a lot of noise, so he shined a high power spot light at it, and they falsely claimed he almost made them crash, and now he's serving big prison time.. although he had no priors ever, and was 60 yo..

I imagine they will try and prosecute people severely for shooting down drones, so people should be prepared that they might have to do a lot more then just shoot drones..

Freedom is quite expensive when government becomes so perverted and corrupt as it is today in the USA..

But Freedom is guaranteed when your neighbors stand up for your actions.
Too many of us let brave people get mangled in the system instead of doing our duty and stopping the system
from encroaching on our rights.

If congress passed a law that said every first born son had to be sacrificed, would you all let that law stand?
Unfortunately, many of us would just go with the flow.

Sorry, but killing these preliminary drones will do nothing, the x37b requires a $70,000 hell fire missile (at least) to take out. Who has one of those?

I will share one secret -- the super-capacitor electrodes made with burning graphene oxide onto a dvd using light-scribe (then peeling it off after annealing with the lightscribe image -- ALL BLACK if you really need to know. It'd be a good idea to add a run off tray during this process and burn at the lowest speed setting (which co-incides with the best print quality depends on how your application spells it out)).

These electrodes constructing a super capacitor can be the difference between a railgun that works and one that doesn't unless it is bigger than that us army railgun the size of an 18 wheeler. This would be much, much smaller with supercapacitors. However, only this weapon could shoot down an x37b, nevermind the other systems required to actually hit anything with it (radar, carefully aligned optical components or threat detection, etc).

You'll get the first gen drones but best of luck taking out i something that is any higher than 20,000 feet.

Those drones are a direct threat, from the US Govt. to the American people. If they're carrying a weapon of any kind, then they aren't really drones.
They're first generation terminators.

I suggest that we, the American people, respond accordingly. ^^

Are you just waking up to this reality? Our news media is not news anymore. If it is not spewing opinions as facts , it is putting out made up news, Or it is putting out info to help further a particular agenda. In essense we now have State run media in this country.

The federal government has to abide by the same laws they inflict on us.

The Constitution limits the authority, use and misuse of power.

Perhaps you haven't noticed, but our government stopped obeying the law and the constitution quite awhile ago. They, clearly, don't share your view on the use of power..

Exactly! Not only have they been violating the very laws that they vote in as well as individual state laws, they have also been guilty of violating International laws.
The funny thing about it though, they dont even try and deny it anymore. When an issue arises, like Fast and Furious or Torture etc... they just brush it off like its a minor annoyance and basically say, how dare you even bring this up to me, you are nothing.
Then the media "forgets" about it and starts throwing American Idol into the news so our eyes will glaze back over.

Just because they've stopped obeying, doesn't mean we should stop holding them accountable.

It's done, it's all over but the crying now. I'm Canadian and I'm mad as hell. Just gave my mom a quick call and she told me one of her customers is an air traffic controller and they see them all the time hovering over our/your border. It's only a matter of time before Harper says, c'mon guys, over here.

30,000 of these things are going to be watching you take a sh!t. Why the hell is everyone so damn complacent? WTF is going on?? The third Reich totalitarian state has risen from the dead. Obama is now, if not already, the most hated president. I predicted this in 08'. A revolution on the brink with Bush, and then they put in Obama and suddenly everyone went chill. I saw this coming. And yet those stupid Montreal college kids throwing a tantrum over stupid tuition hikes when Quebec is the cheapest place in Canada to get an education. My god! Where are the priorities?

The fact that anyone watches Fox "News" (or any news entertainment) is sad. But you can save it. If we were in the Bush Admin this guy would be calling anyone that did this a traitor and a terrorist.

Start thinking for yourself.

But we are not in the Bush admin and this guy did not say that, so I dont really see the relevance of your post.

If being a libertarian is a bad thing, then I guess I'm bad.

As to what is wrong with our media. Mainly it's they hate people who can think for themselves. They want you to believe whatever they feed to you and to never, ever question it. Which is why we libertarians are "bad" and a threat to them.

Im not concerned about drones....matter fact fill the sky with thousands of them for all i care and arm them to the teeth....at least you are being open about it. Buzz my house 3 times a day....fine.

Its the hidden stuff that pisses me off
I call it zapping me and filling my head with delusions so i cannot distinguish the true from the false on all levels. The Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars or Psychological Operations...the being all up inside my IP watching me when you claim this kind of thought is delusional when it is reality and goes on with media content. The Edward Bernays BS everywhere of what it is to be worthy or unworthy successful or unsuccessful.

Drones truly arent even close to as damaging as the Silent Weapons they run 24/7

Who is honestly going to whip out a stinger and shoot one of these down over U.S. soil? No one.

This post will probably get me some hate, but if you're saying it's a violation of your rights and such to have them in America, then what gives you the right to use them in other countries?
