The first two polls of this week by CBS/NY TImes and Rasmussen has shown that Romney is leading Obama in the general election by two and three points respectively. So I guess that whole Gay Marriage thing actually hurt Obama, or people just really care more about the economy!

I wonder that myself, but we will not find out as the media has no interest in giving Dr. Paul any press,...well unless it is to spin a lie and say he has stopped his campaign, when he has only quit spending is all.

Polls now are just too early for any substantial conclusions to be drawn. We have another half a year left before the Presidential election so I do not think polls are altogether that important right now. With that said however I do think that state polls can be quite informative for they will show where Romney is set to gain over McCain’s results and where Obama may drop, or gain, from his previous results. We should be focused on statewide polling. If Romney can hold the traditional Republican states and be competitive in more industrialized states, that would be telling.

I don't know...why do you think he is?

I honestly question that part of the poll...I don't see how Romney would gain the women's vote.

He's not ending his campaign. Quit believing and spreading lies. He's refocusing his campaigning.

Don't forget the whole truth! The NYT tried to cheat!!!

They stacked the poll with democrats and Mitt Romney STILL won !!!

--------

It's over. They have tried everything.

Romney is still way ahead.

The next job growth report will be worse than the last.

Europe is slowing down and won't have the Euros to buy our iPhones.

James Carville was right. It's the economy, stupid.

The Obama smoke screen cannot hide the terrible US economy.

Deflect - Divert - Divide has failed.

Too gay maybe? Maybe most ladies are still straight who feel more secure with a pro-straight president?

But seriously though we don't even need any polls to tell that Obama is losing(or has lost) his base. Conspiracy aside, many can see the fraud that he is, including women and i foresee most of the lgbt community will soon too. Liberals better wake the # up to the two party scheme as much as republicans, at least i can admit the republicans are starting to do that more honorably than dems with candidate like Ron Paul. Obama's term has been exposing how hypocritical, conniving and ignorant liberals can be as well. We've only lost credibility with him.

Yeah that's the vibe I get.
People are very excited about Romney.
I haven't seen the republicans as happy
with their candidate since Reagan.
The man is a shoe in.
Latinos love him as much as women.

I saw that poll, but that's just the popular vote.
If you check the TPM Poll Tracker composite, which summarizes all recent polls by state,
you get a better picture of the electoral votes.

Obama 303, Romnet 226.

Team Obama is in disarray.

The NYT/CBS stack the poll with democrats and they STILL get clobbered?

Obama is a 1 term president.
