I can't remember whether someone else has posted this video here already or whether I came across it randomly on YouTube.

There's no point of reference in the video to estimate distance nor height. For all we know, it could be a pitch-black room with a flashing model on a thin pole/stand or even suspended by wire. It could also have been faked by a skilled animator.

I'd like to know what you guys make of it. And if it's already been posted then apologies in advance.

Heh...makes me think of Sam Beckett's watch in the television series Quantum Leap!

What do I make of it? Well, I agree with your skepticism, so I must ask why you felt a need to put this up for discussion?

Because despite my skepticism, and the greater likelihood of it being fake. It may tally with a sighting someone here has had. In addition, someone may be familiar with the type of visual effect technique used to create the object, if it is fake. And frankly why not ask? I'm puzzled why you ask me that.

I'll try not to cast aspersions on anyone who wishes to believe this to be genuine footage of an E.T craft . However, as you'll note in the comments section. The guy who uploaded it has some rather strange ideas. He has pictures of a purported abductee with assorted photos of bodily 'contusions' or red marks.

ADDED::

Especially after reading your post above this one!

Pointless...yet you feel the urge to impress that upon me? I'm still puzzled and it's really bizarre why you even asked it has to be said. Is it possible yes? Plausible, very doubtful. Far more pertinently, I doubt the MoD would've consulted Louie Spence on the lighting design, if it happens to be an object. If it's E.T, fark knows, maybe they're flamboyant?

If E.T could penetrate the UK Air Defence Region (or any sovereign airspace for that matter) with such impunity, I don't think they'd be concerned with visibility. So that's a moot one for me.

And as I already stated above. As a curio, I'd like to know how a visual effect would most likely be made. I never considered a glowing watch. In fact I never realised such a thing existed but it's a useful discussion as again it's something that can be explained. And so another 'strange sight' explained by mundane reasoning. Perhaps it didn't cross your mind that despite my skepticism and reservations. I wanted to play 'devil's advocate' in the very unlikely scenario that my initial assumption was inaccurate.

All contributions are appreciated

Interesting comment about it being a stadium viewed from afar. I would've gone with lightshow, but there would be light diffusion. I have to say I'm quite swayed by the wrist-watch hypothesis!

P.S. Do take it in jest Dejarmarx. We seem to be cut from the same quartz (quite visible in a certain light )

You'll have to message the guy directly on YouTube or just leave a comment. He e-mailed me the photos and they did look a little peculiar. He claimed the GP who examined the man had stated that he didn't know the cause. But from a preliminary view, they looked either like a fresh burn (i.e after being scolded) or some sort of extreme reaction to something. He said he had studied the photos and videos in-depth and that the video was 'raw footage'. I wasn't convinced and when I pushed him with rather more plausible explanations. He went off on one and refused to speak to me. Nice chap.

spleenika, really interesting video . I have to say, the video I posted seems to be slightly different. In that there's a non-linear contour on the surface. I suppose lenticular shaped rather than flat like that fan.
