he Obama campaign, which seemingly will try any fundraising scheme that occurs to it, is using Mother’s Day to get people to part with their money.

In an campaign email with the subject line “My best friend,” President Obama suggests to recipients that they “sign my card to her today.”

Never really liked Obama but I still wouldn't expect this from his campaign

It would be a very good lesson learned if his supporters saw the unclassy-ness in this and decided not to vote
And then news comes out that it raised less than 1k

So that he and future candidates learn

I don't like Obama's policies and lies and think he is a horrible president but a good fundraising idea is a good fundraising idea.

If Mother's Day wasn't already corrupted by corporation greed, I might be outraged over what Obama did. It's frankly not as bad as all the corporations spamming with me ads trying to tell me that I have to buy something to show that I appreciate my mother. That some made in China gift and a overpriced printed and folded piece of paper will show how much I appreciate my mother.

As far as I can see, the donations , if given, are voluntary.

I understand the horror expressed by the OP, , but lets be real.

Every time a Politican kisses a baby , or shakes a hand, is that not similiar,I mean its Politics, or BS.
