Socialist Hollande owns three homes on the Riviera
11 May 2012 -- London Evening Standard

It seems a bit ironic and even hypocritical that a staunch Socialist like Francois Hollande who has said he hates rich people is himself ..... well, rich !!

He seems to be the typical ultra left liberal who talks on thing and does another.

He has no problem advocating wild spending as long as the money is somebody else's

France's new Socialist president owns three holiday homes in the Riviera resort of Cannes, it emerged today.

Francois Hollande, 57, who “dislikes the rich” and wants to revolutionise his country with high taxes and an onslaught against bankers, is in fact hugely wealthy himself.

His assets were published today in the Official Journal, the gazette which contains verified information about France’s government.

What's good for the Goose ??

He's socialist, not Marxist...

In fact, to be specific, he's a social democrat.

Google it

I googled social democrat and of course, social democracy kept coming up. Here's from Encyclopedia Britannica:

social democracy: political ideology that advocates a peaceful, evolutionary transition of society from capitalism to socialism using established political processes. Based on 19th-century socialism and the tenets of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, social democracy shares common ideological roots with communism but eschews its militancy and totalitarianism. Social democracy was originally known as revisionism because it represented a change in basic Marxist doctrine, primarily in the former’s repudiation of the use of revolution to establish a socialist society.

Britannica Online

I'm not sure what you mean here. This hardly gives any sort of explanation as to why he
would have 3 mansions. What's your definition of a social democrat?
