Overall...without any REAL NHS ANALYSIS AND PUSHES....lol.....it was hard to stay out of it system-wise....lol....this was a vanilla gorilla game...it kinda sucked....and I didnt see HUNGRY ALL NIGHT from either team...it was mid-season form NHL hockey...lol....no one was making any adjustments because no one had any good ideas I guess....lol.

I saw the Oilers almost give it away by overplaying the puck trying to always set up the defensive v zone structure before exiting like they did in game 3.Looked ugly awkward and cumbersome but it did help you win 2 points so its water under the bridge.

Thou shalt not pick and choose.The Oilers as a Franchise have been unable to drive a straight line for 15+ years in terms of finding the NHLs evolutionary direction,they LED this evolution for a decade and once they lost the "edge" they had to give up their Penthouse suites and take the Peanut seats.The Oilers have changed Oganisational directions as many times as they have had new Coaches.They told us the "message" wasnt changing.

The Dance Hall didnt change maybe but the tunes sure as hades did.Every time they changed their tune and dance-step they had to change their partners.This meant that the entire players organisational player cluster had to be shaken-stirred-sieved with disturbing regularity,eventually happening without a congruent long term singular Farm Team/NHL Club developmental focus at the organisations lowest point.

Prior to Hall,Mac-T had built a Stanley Cup level Process and he had shown the League that Edmonton could still win despite the massive player changes and descent and dissent the Organisation.....and the KEYSTONE fact to remember is HOW MAC-T built a SC winning Process out of the rag-tag bunch of desperados he had to work with because although no one wishes to discuss it Mac-T HAD BUILD AN EXEMPLARY PROCESS and he had done it using hockey acumen I equate to being a Renney-Krueger Hybrid......Mac-T IMHO is a hockey GENIUS and always has been....even when i watched him play I could see how he processed the game how he felt its pulse and how he willingly did anything he had to do to nurture his club during games by correctly assesing the tool he needed to become to be supportive and curative in the moment on the ice IMHO Mac-T passed his personal atttributes onto his Teams identity.....specificlly his on-ice management talents he picked up from WGs Dynasty management process .....and evidence proves.it was a Championship level Process Mac-T built.

So....I say.....the single biggest the Oiler made after blowing up the Dynasty club was in letting Mac-T leave the bench....because IMHO had he been fed the talented players we saw come in with Ebbs-Hall-Nuge-Nail we would have begun winning in 2011 and possibly not stopped.

Now that we have a little background data....we can discuss Nugey.

Back the Puck off to begin with....lol.....Nugey is IMHO the Spirit-of the-Oilers I wish for.

RNH was caught in an organisationaly inspired BLENDER which he dialed in on in his 2nd season....Nuge identified the dynamics in play and he sought shelter in DEFENSE...the same place all great hockey minds including Gretzkys went when the walls closed in.RNH CHOSE to become a 2-way center to best help the team and to SURVIVE IN THE BLENDER HIMSELF...he SHOULD have taken Ebbs spot as an offensive partner to Hall with Ebbs spot being given to a 2-way defensive RW....sooooo.....Ebbs took Nuges spot IMHO on the developmental curve on the line and eventually Yakupovs on the team and was a weighted factor in Nuge backpocketing his offense ...this began the Hall and Ebbs Show which KEPT NUGE locked into a 2-way defensive focus...and SHUT OUT NAIL YAKUPOV COMPLETELY ... IMHO. Ebbs who is a complimentary player has displaced 2 elite impact players in critical ways to support a now departed Halls strengths.

Nuge and his young teammates found their rythem and a sympathetic Philosophy and Coach and System in 2012....all statistical records provide clear and concrete EVIDENCE of this.....Players were being used in proper roles and their strengths were being BUILT UPON not ripped down and painted with a defensive brush which is what soon happened with Eakins et al and what catalysed the storm which resulted in the Copper Rain of #1 Overalls now falling on the entire NHL...2 down 1 to go and the storm is over....the evidence or error is almost all removed to a MAN....wow. Nuge may have outscored McDavid in his rookie season on a PPG basis.Nuge is a perfect leadership Candidate who should have been given the "C" in 2014 by Sam Gagner who was sucessfully mentoring the kids and who had IMHO earned it by 2011.

The Dream is over now.....the chance to build a Dynasty busting NHL Team is gone....Ebbs-Hall-Nuge -Schultz- Yakupov were not handled properly because no one except the Quinn-Renney- Krueger trio could put together a process using concurrent learning curves to accomodate everyones evolutions....the perfect storm which the Oilers found in 2012 was intentionally FLUSHED to "teach the unruly kids to play DEFENSE"....lol.

Nuge is the type of player you can build a Gretzky type team around...Conner should have been his winger until 2018.Nuge is IMHO the ONLY pure complete elite level on-ice manager on the Roster.I am 100% supportive today with what the Oilers are doing.....but my opinions differ.I believe Nuge could engineer a behind the net focus which would rival Waynes in effectiveness,that it would be easier to stop a Conner led Oilers than a Nuge led Oilers, that if we slipped Conner into Ebbs spot no one could stop the line from leading the NHL offensively.The number of pucks Nuge/McDavid would recover and turn around into immediate offense is staggering to consider.Nuges takeaways being fed to McDavid are a lot different than those pucks being fed to Hall or Ebbs.....Nuge has Lucic now so he can become a scoring threat himself alongside Conner...with Milan being the swingman outlet forcing the defense to open up for the shooters....before Nuge couldnt be a shooter he had a puckhog and a buttersoft finesse winger taking those looks.....now he has a legitimate Power Forward in Lucic who has a Physical impact 10x greater than Hall or Ebbs and a legitimate Dynamic Scoring Winger in McDavid who can backcheck better than Hall or Ebbs. I see RNH behind the net ,feeding a prepared quickstriking Milan and Conner in front and to the sides and a collapsing defense looking to score.IMHO...Conner and Milan SUPPORT NUGES STRENGTHS IF HE IS ALLOWED TO BE THE CATALYST......FAR BETTER....than Milan and Ryan support McDavids strengths under all circumstances.IMHO teams today are winning using Mac-Ts System Dynasty bred on-ice management focuses...and evidence proves it.Mac-Ts System is what T-Mac is trying to find right now....lol....a Boston/San Jose style roster who can produce offense while dominating physiclly.

But on a more realistic note...Nuge would be better off being more of Catalyst on another NHL Club....one who is already solid defensively and mature that needs to catch up to the NHLs offensive evolution and is willing to FOCUS ON NUGE 100% ....exactly the way the Oilers are building around Conner now...IMHO the Oilers even screwed up Conners development by improperly valuating supporting and using Nugey and other assets they have frittered away recently. New Jersey should go all in and spit up a d-man and a high draft pick for Nugey ...because Hall and Nuge are enough to build a Franchise 1st line around and are YOUNG STILL.I dont think RNH should sacrifice his offense any more....its been to long...he needs to start scoring goals regularly to be all he can be

I will agree to 86 Moma2 and the NHS only if a reciprocal agreement ensures full support in renaming and releasing whatever we together deem to be non-proprietary to you post agreement.Minor hockey NEEDS the NHS...to many charlattans are now out there trying to duplicate what Moma2 has done and they are all off-base and teaching kids to rely on listen to and be controlled by stats....this goes AGAINST THE GRAIN OF THE NHS...which rejects ALL STATS.

To be frank I care LESS about NHL Teams and the Stanley Cup than I do about teaching generations of kids globally how to learn and utilise the NHS and its philosophies in all aeas of their lives...sucessfull progams are transferable.....I wish to strengthen their left-brain thinking without weakening their right-brain processes.....and I wish them to be EXCITED and focused on learning via sports passion.
